Oh my God, I can seriously relate to you... the exact same thing happened to me and my sister. For her engagement and wedding, I booked a makeup artist, Shilpi, and she spoiled my sister's day. She charged 50k and did the worst makeup. When I tried to tell her that it was not good, she argued with us. But it's okay; the next makeup artist we found did an amazing job. So please don't lose hope; you are going to look your best.

To be very honest sometime i think rather then booking a makeup artist its better to do our makeup by own we know our self better and we actually look beautiful when we do our own makeup and some makeup artist overdo the makeup they don't even use our skintone makeups a similar incident happened with my aunt my aunt has dark skin and the makeup artist use fair skintone makeup with ruin her whole beauty on her engagement day.
Right self makeup is very good. Mere sath 2-3 times hogya hai mai ye sochke parlour jati thi ki event hai professional look aaye makeup achese Kiya huwa ho but then every time same thing usse acha khud hi makeup krlo UA-cam shorts se sikhke . Jitna hum 1-2 time parlour mai dege product lelo acha quality ka use kro. I don't why but ab trust hi nhi hota usse acha khudse hi krlo

Hi Sumedha ,felt really bad for your sister, every girl wants to look her best on he special day. I would just say that take demo whoever you book now, As I have seen one video few days back , where the girl was makeup artist herself so she managed somehow, These people can't be trusted so its better to ask for demo , if possible.

6 month back i had done permanent straightening from lakme. Previously i was doing it from naturals. After seeing their work i was sure that they haven't done good work. I trusted them only bcz of brand but i kid you not, within 4 month my hair started unwinding. Jab bhi naturals se karti hun pura mera almost 8-9 month tak thoda bhi unwind nahi hota hai and atleast 11-12 month tak to shine rehta hai

Yarr engagement life mein ek hi bar hoti hai aur vo life ka sabse precious Day hota h specially ladki ka liya toh bhut precious hota h per ye sab dhekne ka baad lakme walo ko jitne galii do utne kam h
same happened with my best friend. the makeup artist came and did the make up and that looked horrible she used glittery pink shade powder all over her face and contoured her face very oddly so we had to remove some of the makeup and then when we complained about that the lady got annoyed. later we got to know that the lady even stole gold that was gifted to my friend from grooms side. it was the incident from 2019 at bhubaneshwar.
I am so sorry to hear about the incident that happened with your sister..😞 As you mentioned that you are not getting any makeup artist for the wedding and reception.. I can suggest a makeup artist if you want.. he is very good.. I did my makeup from him on my wedding day..
If you have enough proof then you can sue them through Tart Law in consumer forum...

Extremely unprofessional behaviour by Lakme even one of my relatives had issues with lakme whereas they took the entire amount but didn’t open the salon for a week straight after that and later the salon just disappeared from that place. She literally had to do her own makeup on her big day. Why are they so hyped for? Good for nothing.Sorry you had to go through this sending loads of love❤

Engagement look was good ,but the product they used was so bad ,my sister got a tear i her eye all her makeup collapsed,that line of tear was completely seen in photos too ,inspite of touch up ,they claimed it to be waterproof 😠
