- Stephen's Story: When You Ask for Help, but Get to Help Someone
When Stephen called a Be My Eyes volunteer for some assistance, little did he know that he'd actually end up helping the volunteer as well.

Being a volunteer I never imagined how much this app helped people.
This is amazing!
I hope people feel more comfortable using this app, because I rarely get any calls.
It is a pleasure to be a volunteer of Be my eyes. It's awesome ♥️♥️
Thanks for sharing this! My experience with be my eyes has been so wonderful
wow this really was a nice experience. who on earth dislikes such a beautiful video? may god bless their sick mind
I am very happy to hear such news as I am one of the blind people in this world
I answered my first Be My Eyes call just before!
I love this! I just downloaded the app, I am not going to lie, I do not normally get nervous about anything, but, I am nervous about the first call. I fear that I might not be able to assist the person and waste the person's time. Anyone else have similar concerns?
Literally just happened to me I think… I feel so bad honestly so now I want to learn how to be helpful in any way possible and to ask questions to understand, the call ended fast and I wasn’t able to help him off the screen simply because I was too nervous
If you can't help it's ok to be honest. How many times do you need help from the phone company or at a store and the workers don't know the answer or aren't able to help? It's quite common. You just ask another person. Eventually someone will know. I think the most important part is being available. If you're driving or busy then don't answer, and let the call go to one of the other volunteers who can really focus on helping the person.
Have you gotten any calls in the last 7 months?
I hope you are doing well Stephen!!!
Now that's synergistic! Great job to the both of you! 👍🏽🤩🌟
Loved the story! Thanks for sharing and glad your nose was okay! =]
Bless your heart 💙 I'm just learning about this and it's fabulous!

Hello, this is Stephen replying to your comment. You told me you do computer programming and work with computers all the time, and I have a question. Do you know if you have access to any Apple engineers, or if you have any in your family? I have been trying to get ahold of an Apple engineer to discuss some things and have been unsuccessful. Please let me know what you think, thanks in advance.
@@stephenzelley3501 Hey Stephen! I hope you are doing well. This is Rachel from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I also work in the IT field and I would love to work together any time. Although I do not have access to any Apple engineers, I am thinking of a way to reach some people to get the answers you are looking for. You can send me a message if you want. Regards!
Thank you very much, let me know what you think. If you would like I would be more then happy to give you my phone number and email adress, just let me know
Okay, I got it, you can delete it now.
