My first appreciation for one of the "Big Four" Kaiju, this one is for the destructive, angry, and tragic flying monster, Rodan.

Each time I'm watching your videos I get that instant nostalgy and I feel like it's 2010-2013 again. I miss being a 7 year old kid obsessed with godzilla and everytime I watch those nostalgic videos I feel a piece of the same old hype I used to feel when I was a kid and when I was watching those videos back then.

Rodan is probably one of the more emotional Kaiju, he has his original movie here he and his lover die together and then he sacrifices himself for Godzilla. Something Anguirus hasn't even done.

Hen The G Anguirus didn't die. He was just badly hurt, but Destroy All Monsters is chronologically the last Showa Godzilla film, and Anguirus was there, he didn't die. He wasn't even fighting Fake Godzilla knowing he had to save the world, he was just attacked by an imposter of his friend, and Anguirus defended himself.
Rodan sacrifice him self cause of mechagodzilla but mothra keeps sacrificing herself for godzilla

@XXKaijuKingXX Well, for Rodan I view him as a fiercely independent, individualist character: he's less apt to be a hero than Godzilla, more willing to go his own way.
In addition, I think there's a real element of rage, frustration, and loss to him, since, unlike most Kaiju, he had a mate and lost her. With all that in mind, I went for a song that I thought primarily expressed anger, defiance, and fierce independence.

@Bobtanaka this is cool but I disagree a lil on your one comment that he is less apt to be a hero i mean there's some hero's that were driven by rage and revenge that just ended up fighting crime after or till they get there vengeance and mostly do things there own way like the punisher or deadpool (I know he's a villain and hero sometimes bothr at once) also I know he didn't really want revenge but he does things his own way 97.99% of the time right or even wolverine not by vengeance but by wanting the truth he fights crime but between that he wants to find the truth about his past and he does things his own way and mostly that's dark creepy and bloody and not feeling guilty about killing millions of people for centuries to come cuz he can't really die but still Im kinda hype bout the new godzilla movie Rodan might be in it and his roar is dope godzilla look real and dope also lil scary and there's mystery to it but why in the actual fuck is he in America he should be destroying shit back in Japan or China always get the 2 mixed up but either way its a hell of a swim in the pacific to get to america and I think godzilla looks cooler as a villain and smashing shit up and it puts more of a moral to the story like mankind's weapons against a country mutated this lizard that essentially was the downfall of a certain country so mankind in the end techncally doomed itself
