Here’s what I think happened and why our staff is what it is and why we are in this situation. Going into last year, sure edc expected Mike to be a good dc, but I don’t think they meaning the front office expected Mike to be the best dc in football. Through the season last year I think they assessed thier options knowing Mike was leaving due to edc not getting rid of John cuz they boys. However I don’t think they expected our other two coaches to leave. So they were left with a choice. They chose wrong at least for now. I think they wanted Orr to take over eventually but had to rush him into this position in order to keep him here. The front office got caught with their pants down and made a gamble and it didn’t pay off. Now we are here, not saying Orr couldn’t be the guy but it’s a boom or bust league and we are in our window if you can’t cut it you gotta go in the offseason that is.
