Michael Watson - What an incredible human being.... and Chris Eubank, clearly still struggles with what happened that night... just a really sad and freak incident
Chris said after the fight that Watson was on drugs!
Watson paid a heavy price for cheating, strong painkillers kept him going when he should have stopped.
@@daveoliver5838you have no idea what you are talking about
a mark of a good man is one who feels regret and remorse for the bad things he has chosen to do. he took it further: he feels remorse because, even if it was an accident, he feels remorse regardless, rooted in empathy. he didnt choose to do that, and regrets it anyways, and he's been carrying that with him his entire life. this depth of compassion and accountability is rare, as are all great men.
hear hear
Brings tears to my eyes…
Same here …..
Very emotional video - bringing two great British warriors together. Michael had the skill and Chris the teak toughness to rise and stay at the top. Thanks for uploading.
As much as they’re both warriors, they’re both LOVELY men. It was a freak accident and the fact Michael is so forgiving and seeing how much it means to Chris… just beautiful ❤️
Reminds me of Rocky and Apollo conversation. We're the Warriors
Micheal waston what a legend Chris eubank sr a pure gentleman ❤
What an incredible person Watson is and what great fighters both eubank and Watson are , great to see love and respect for each other ❤
I met Micheal and Chris. Chris at Nice Airport and Micheal in weymouth UK. Both come across as stand up guys who have ALL made some mistakes but learned and carry forward that learning
What a man michael Watson is.
Chris Eubank is 1 of the best of all time...
Both amazing men. Big hearts.
A tragedy that not only profoundly effect Michael, his family but also Chris.. 😢
That’s amazing spirit between two genuine people after such tragedy
Eubank was a destroyer until Watson. Such a special fighter. Too good Eubank.
Out of focus due to copyright issues on those segments
One love ❤️ to both of these legends
Social media boxers need to see this / they can light a match to these guys
I dont try to have heroes in life, but Michael Watson is my hero
Damn.. I teared up instantly..
Fair play to both men true warriors
Michael Watson has shown incredible sportsmanship. Chris had the heavy heart while Michael lived in peace.
i'm crying. what beautiful men these two are.
Tears down My cheeks, real forgiveness God bless them both
For anyone still curious why the fight clips are blurred, ITV clearly didn’t pay for the license to use the fight footage from that documentary so they just blurred the copyright parts out.
You’d assume they would pay to license it but whatever
beautiful
Every boxer knows the dangers of boxing, and what happened that night was a sheer accident, but as the boxer who inflicted those life changing injuries you are going to feel responsibility, but the way Michael spoke about it was testament to how he never blamed Chris it was just a freak accident
Two great boxers, two even greater men.
Michael Watson shows that he is more of a fighter than anyone of us will ever be
I can't watch with so many out of focus segments. Edit!
😢😢😢😢 good heart men God bless 😮😮
Why is most the video blurred
God bless both you lads❤
Why are certain bits blurred out?
copyright :O?
Why the fuck are half the clips in this blurred why is noone else addressing this
Anyone else getting cuts that are blurred out?? Weird!
Whoever edited this needs to be fired, Jesus Christ
It’s copyright
Dude it's cause of copyright issues... Pull your head out of your rear
@@Felixsears-fl4weit’s copywrong.
why the fuck is it all out of focus
ITV started doing that recently with footage. Don't know why though.

Why is everything blurred what a dead video
God is so good 🙏
It wasn't Eubanks fault. No medical staff on site. Today it wouldn't happen
Why the heck is everything blurred
Probably because they used footage and the footage owner blocked it
Is Dudley from Street Fighter based off Chris Eubanks? I can definitely see it. Even though most of it is BLURRY, I can definitely see it
FOCUS!
Y is the video all blurry man?
Thing with Boxing is you might have no bad feeling or disrespect for the person you are fighting. But you have to get into that mind frame that you want to destroy him. What ever it takes he's going down. After the fight thats the time for regret and blaming yourself and your character etc... Thats Boxing. Normally after a fight the name calling and provado stop and you congratulate each other. And go back to being respectful.. Thats just the nature of a game you are in. Mike Tyson knew this he was ruthless it made him ruthless. Now he is sorry he bit Evanders ear off.
Lost to Collins . But feel sorry for Eubank. Xxx
So who does it take to put things right and stop boxing and violence for good
Someone like me , and others like me , and what do we need to make that happen
Power to make change
And what else must we do to make that change permanent so that we don't slip back into a word of hurt Again
To assess all souls for integrity , those with none like Chris have to be out to sleep
😢😢😢❤❤❤
“I want to be part of the story”
Why the fuck is every picture blurry??😔😔😔
And did anyone stop boxing
Big respect for the Eubank family but calzagi schooled him but because he is welsh he is forgotten
Eubanks was old then. And Calzaghe was great but he never left the UK until the very end of his career. He dodged Roy Jones until after Jones had been knocked out two or three times, and couldn't even knock him out despite being significantly bigger. Also he retired at 36, while Jones is STILL fighting (his last fight was 2023). So yeah Calzaghe was very good but his career was very short and forgettable.
Im Welsh and was Calzaghi fan but you are talkin crap and over sensitive national nonsense. The Eubank that fought in his prime wouldnt have been schooled by JC I can fckn promise u..u ever see Larry Holmes smash Ali for 15 rounds? by your analysis he schooled one of the greatest fighters ever lol Why dont you learn a bit more about history of boxing b4 making daft comments cariad x
❤
Barbaric old sport really

@steviewonders4913 well you've commented and you look like a tool so correct!

Boxing is a tragedy and a disgrace to human beings
War fought by the masses for the elite, genocide and the rape and murder of children, starving millions on the planet when there is enough food to feed all are a tragedy and disgrace to man kind..Boxing isnt! tosser

My err... My allergies again
After that Chris carried on boxing knowing you was brain damaged and in a wheel chair
What is god teaching us
1. Boxing is wrong and dangerous
2. People who carry on after doing this to a human being have no conscience and are selfish
Why do you have such a strong opinion about a sport you don't follow nor participate in?
Boxing has saved many many lives from the streets and has given many a young person discipline and a positive path out of self-destruction.
These guys knew the risks before they undertook their journey and I'm sure if you asked Watson if he'd do it all over again he would.
Fake crying lol
Not at all Bradley.
Chris is a very sensitive man at heart and I'm sure he was devestated whenever he hospitalized a fellow fighter.
I'm a boxer myself and the last thing I ever want to do is hurt someone forever.
We're in there to hurt them and to "destroy them before they destroy us" but that's just the nature of the game in the moment but you don't want them to get perma maimed or worse die.
fake crying fcn ell thats harsh ! i can only hope you were on a windup and funny one to be fair..if not u are a moronic thick as fck emotional retard..Eubank may well be wrong un but he aint a Michael Barrymore
Fake crying? He must be an amazing actor then.
Eubank won fair and square, yes Watson was badly hurt but he stepped in the ring...
Of course it wasnt Eubanks fault and yes Watson stepped in ring and all fighters know the risk but fckn hell man have a heart. You actually watch fight by the way ? even Eubanks says he won not even a second of the fight until catching an admittedly off guard Watson with a mother fckin upper cut from hell.. Yes Ali died of Parkinsons because he stepped in ring and got bashed up by shitty boxers in his later years..but is that it? no mention of how he took all Foreman,Frazier or Liston could throw at him and won,you even heard of these fighters? Larry Holmes won fair and square when he battered an ageing Ali for 15 rounds in a fight that all true fight fans despise and cant rewatch..but he stepped in ring eh
@@steviewonders4913 Yes as boxers we ALL take that risk, it is unfortunate that at times we are badly hurt, killed, paralysed etc.... May I have my opinion please? I duly respect yours.
@@daynerpotter9514 Yes of course you may have your opinion I wasn't trying to disrespect that, I was pointing out that I personally thought your words a little cold lacked sympathy and empathy for Watson. Agreed when he stepped in ring the risk was there but this wasnt an evil dude who got in street brawl with hateful reckless aim of commiting serious harm to rival. To me that kind of scumbag deserves all that may befall him but in this case a decent mans life became nightmare due to split second punch and I (again subjectively speaking) would find it impossible to think well he knew risks when he got in ring its his own doing..
He got injured but Eubank went down on one knee, came up and uppercut him, Watson didn't guard up properly, that's why he took it on the chin sadly ❤️👌🥊🙁
@@daynerpotter9514 totally agree it was an unbelievable punch for Eubank to have found as he literally dragged himself off the floor following 11 rounds of total punishment.. It says a fckn lot about the warrior in Eubank to even have a thought left in his brain that said get up and attack..The real issue that never seemed to be raised was that Eubank was not given a mandatory 8 count by ref. I still dont know why even all these years later having watched 11th round at least 20 times in past decade that blame is not given to the shit ref standard..he is i would suggest criminally liable for Watson injury. firstly if he gives eubank the count then the bell ends round b4 fighters re engage and secondly I feel it would have given crucial 10-15 secs to think his own space and defense.. Eubank gets straight up from KO walks past ref who should be holding him back and lands uppercut on unprepared Watson..it was equivalent of a sucker punch from some gypsy in bare knuckle bash who you can put down but cant zzz .. no hard feelings btw i can see your not some meathead who knows nothing of the art of boxing ..all the best

Don't bother uploading if everything is going to be out of focus.
Oh fuck off! Listen to the words that are spoken! That's what is important. Dumbass!
Skill issue
It's because kids are on the pictures, you can't post photos of underage kids on the Internet without parental permission dummy
Soulless snob. Look at what the video is about, and look what YOU focus on. Your SOUL is out if focus!
Get lost. Take a hike in Death Valley. Then learn to enjoy the little things in life!
The messaged is relayed just fine, go criticize someone else fool
Both legends. Chris rocketed up in my estimation after seeing his response.
Yes. A heartfelt, genuine speech. You can plainly see he is struggling to keep it together.
