I was actually hoping you had a full 20 minutes of the generic "happens in every Sanderson book" review. I believe your skill in talking without saying anything would have been up to the challenge!
@@TheEverwritten ironically after disagreeing with nerdy about the pacing of way of kings I ended up taking a break in my reread of the series that was intended to lead in to Wind and Truth but that reread will now continue after. So I think I agree more with him about WoK now.
Holy crap, I didn't even know you finished Rythm of War. I'm only just now finishing up Day 7 of W&T, and I had read all the preview chapters prior to release. Would probably be done if I didn't have to work, though. EDIT: Wait, hold up. Just now really watching and starting to think something is a bit off here..... I think I've been had, lol.
I've liked it so far. But I did feel like my immersion break when Sanderson described Syl as looking exactly like Reese Witherspoon in 1998's Pleasantville. It was such an oddly specific reference.
Sorry Nerdy. I've been lugging this book with me everywhere for the last few days, reading as time allows, and I knew there was NO WAY you had already finished Sanderson's longest book to date. Maybe next week you would have made me question myself.
The lines know I am his therapist and let’s kick some fuse ass really really really took me out of the book. I started laughing at how ridiculous it was.
EDIT: serves me right for commenting just as im leaving for work and before watching I thought the whole point of the Nerdy Wordy Book Club was that you were reacting week by week to the storyline as it unfolded in the books? Now youre 2 whole books ahead your show?
Rhythm of War spoils MB Era II? That's . . . very not true. I can think of what they are referencing, and it is so super vague. I was actually looking forward to seeing you go into that after Stormlight with some tiny little hints. Alas, oh well.
Alright, how about I go over there, and I will walk in Chandler's bedroom and I will see if the thing that I think I know is actually the thing that I know!
Spoiler… . . . . . What was the divisive character arc you mentioned? Kal and the Herald thing, Adolin and whatever happened there at the end, Dalinar and the whole honor situation, or the isolated loverboys? Personally I’m still making up my mind about the book, but loved it overall, but the ending felt a bit sugarcoated??? Idk, too much went right for what was supposed to be like a cataclysmic event.
My favorite part is when Brandon yelled "It's Sanderson time!" and then he Sander-lanche's all over the place.
You absolutely should have started with, "I FUCKING KNEW IT. I'VE BEEN SAYING IT FOR THE WHOLE TIME, I FUCKING KNEW IT."
I was about to throw shoes at the screen!🤣
It's scary how accurate this is.
Especially about the Sanderlanche…I was skeptical initially but I thought it is an opinion and I can’t believe he nailed it on Sanderlanche.
Did he NALE it?
Take my freaking thumbs up 😂
@ 😅😂😁
I like that you can slightly edit and reuse this for other Cosmere books
The algorithm goddess will bless you for this, but it might be a boon and a curse 😂😅
the all caps NAIL is what tricked me
"I think Rhythm of War will be a dip" ... That one is my favorite. Lol
You almost got me. But I know the ways of Nerdy and shall not be gulled, cullied or diddled!

You really nailed it- it IS a book, and it do be long.
Some Branson Sando level trolling here:)
lmfao - I was wondering how long you could keep the joke going, and it was impressive.
I also haven’t read the book, but I’m guessing the whole book is a Sanderlanche, so let’s see which of us ends up being closer to right. 😅
Very happy they are doing mistborn era 2 next. I was really curious how that was going to go if they went right to rhythm of war
That's what I did... I missed something I guess, just don't know what. I'll find out along with book club, I suppose. 😂
Honestly, even I need a break when doing rereads of these insanely long books. It makes it better to let them sit a while.

Honestly got me with this one
how did you do it in three days ive been putting in like 12 hours a day since the book came out at 1.2 speed and I still have like 8 hours left
I got mine today. It's like lifting weights holding it.
Okay you fucking got me god damn it

You storming mad man XD

Can you imagine skipping the first 4 books and reading this one 😂
EDIT: serves me right for commenting just as im leaving for work and before watching

Nice MH shirt 😍
You were on book 3!!! How?
Rhythm of War spoils MB Era II? That's . . . very not true. I can think of what they are referencing, and it is so super vague. I was actually looking forward to seeing you go into that after Stormlight with some tiny little hints.
Alas, oh well.
Its definetely a book, with words on it, although i didn't feel wind coming out of it and i think the story isn't true. 5/5
"Nerdy ruined book club by reading Sadman and Rockboy!" :D
Ok but what are you gonna title the real review
Had to click it even though I assumed it was a prank post, and as soon as the book version of the pronoun game started, i knew it was a prank.😅
Absolut Madlad
The whole book is kinda a Sanderlanche.
Alright, how about I go over there, and I will walk in Chandler's bedroom and I will see if the thing that I think I know is actually the thing that I know!
🤣🤣

Holy cow. I'm sitting here waiting for the rest of your oath bringer reactions and you're here reviewing wind and truth already?? 🤣
Edit: oh lol
Good way to guarantee new people who find this video won't ever watch another one of your videos. Thanks for wasting my time.
