    Regarding some false facts in the lecture - Lithuanian rulers didn't invite Jews specifically - they invited Christians. Lithuanian king Gediminas invited merchants and craftspeople and even mentioned he has built Christian churches for them. Another false claim - Lithuanian rulers invited Jews because of litteracy. Literate people came to Lithuania from Christian monasteries, therefore literate people were not a problem.
