    Good comparison on the target audience. That was useful.

    They just became available in the UK so I ordered one on Monday, whilst the monitor was in my basket it sold out, they had another shipment on Friday, today and so I ordered again and managed to get though the order process this time before they sold out. I'm looking forward to using this very much. Biggest screen by a long way I've ever owned.

    Thanks for the review! I am in doubt should I but PD3205U (which is now 500e) or should I wait for MA32OU availability (as it's out of stock) for 600e? Regular wfh/office usage + some Lucid diagramming on MacBook Pro m1

    I just switched from Windows PC to the Mac Mini with the M4 chip. I am retired and the mac mini mainly for email + shopping and stock trading. I am seriously considering the Benq MA 320U or MA 270U. Would these be a good choice or do you recommend other monitors for the Mac Mini with the m4 chip? Anton van Zevenbergen in Lewes, Delaware USA...

    Hi, I work as a photo editor and used to shoot weddings in the past. I’ve always used Apple laptops for my work. How accurately does this monitor reproduce the colors of the latest Apple laptops with M-series Pro processors? When I switched from an Intel-based MacBook to one with an M-series Pro processor, the colors looked completely different due to the difference in screen technology. I understand that the Apple Studio Display also shows a picture that differs from modern MacBooks with Mini-LED screens. Since my clients use these newer MacBooks, wouldn’t it make more sense to buy this monitor instead of the Studio Display?

      I think it's completely up to you and the use case. I have the M1 by the way, and colours are basically identical without any setup.

    Thanks for the review Albert. Is this monitor HDR capable? Can you calibrate it separately from the Mac? Thanks.

    I'm a Wedding photographer and video editor, i rarely print images, but i care about accurate-calibrated color for editing, do you recommand this monitor?

      If you don't care much about printing this monitor should be perfectly fine. But for photography, I'd still consider the SW line.

    I'm surprised that Apple fans boast that the macOS system can't adapt well to almost any monitor... That's literally a tremendous flaw XD

    So it’s not good enough for you to use for editing photos, but it’s good enough for you to show your professional work to your clients? What..

    • @AlbertDrosPhotography
      @AlbertDrosPhotography  2 місяці тому +5

      That is absolutely correct. It shows everything in a beautiful way. If you don't print, you will not know or care that it's not 100% accurate regarding AdobeRGB. But as I am doing quite some printing and care about the accuracy, it's better to work on my BenQ SW screens regarding that. Hope that makes it clear ?

    No 4k monitor can be called “designed for mac” as macOS is designed to work with 110 or 220 (retina) ppi

      Pairing Mac's with 109 ppi as opposed to 218 ppi (retina) will look horrible on 27" and 32" displays. You need 27" 5K or 32" 6K with macOS to avoid scaling issues.
      However, many of my Mac user friends are still OK using 4K 32" displays with macOS scaling because 5K displays are exorbitantly priced even in 2024 and Apple's own ageing studio 5K 27" display based on outdated tech - LCD, 60Hz, No HDR, no promotion, no mini LED or micro LED, additional bomb for HAS, ....has irrational pricing which has continued over past few years.

      @hero3616 Місяць тому

      @@sgtaneja there is no scaling issue with 3840x1600 @38” as indicated above however ~110 non-retina proper scaling isn’t as crisp as retina ~220 ppi (i have it as well as ASD and XDR so idc what you know or say)

    you can not compare this with the Studio Display - totally different product - it would be like comparing a BMW with a Lada
