But now I want to add serums and oils to make it a whitening lotion. No, salicylic acid is an exfoliating acid , tranexamic acid and niacinamide work in different pathways. You can include them in you base cream , remember to balance the PH.

So, I made mine, immediately I added the warm water it started to thicken already, it was so thick I could barely mix and blend, I had to add more water, I eventually ended up adding 1liter of water to the formulation instead of the the initial 700, anyway, I didn’t give up tho, I kept at it, but the moment I added the salicylic acid, it loosened up and became the most gorgeous cream base, thick, nice and gorgeous, I also added polysorbate 80, I did everything just as you said, asides from the water level I increased due to the thickness, meanwhile thank you for giving a heads up on how long it takes salicylic to dissolve, it took me almost 200 years, but it happened and my cream base is perfect, thank you sooo much 🙏🏾 but please can I know why it thickened immediately? So I know what I did wrong and avoid it next time. I wish I could add a picture to my comment, I love my cream base thanks a lot.

You can add white now oil or Nature secret oil (the green bottle ), any one is perfect. ..Two shade lighter at least with those oils, but serum will give a whitening effect. We talk about that in another video. THANKS for watching I appreciate 🥰
