- The classic camping candle, the Swedish candle! These are so easy to make and just fun to light and watch burn. Hope this inspires you to cut your own candle today. Thanks for the likes and please subscribe too! Thanks!
We have backyard fires all the time and some things just make it a great experience. The recommended products below stand out to us, so check em out. My favorite is the bug trap. Having fires at dusk we always need bug spray, but the Dynatrap with a fresh bulb and mosquito lure did the trick. I literally didn’t have one bug bite all summer. Love it, but gotta use the lure imho.

"Some call it Swiss candles. Some call it Swedish candles. How cares?"
I do. I am a Swede. :)
Good for you.. you swedish meatball
In Ireland you would be a turnip
Three years later & some tells you the difference between who & how ! 😂
@@WhiskeyGulf71 I just came back to this video and saw that I typed it wrong. I KNOW how to spell who and how, it was a typing error. I promise. :) I let it be.
("Sree munce ago I codn't even spell enjuneer - and now I are one" as we used to print on our t-shirts when we graduated from the school of engineering.)
It's actually a Finish candle or a Canadian candle if you're in Canada. lol.
Tighten that chain! I’m flinching watching this!
We call these "Guy's Lantern" in Finland.
i noticed you didnt use the bumper spike. you push that into the wood to use it to cut faster by having more leverage.
Chainsaw technique 😮! Need to use the spike, tighten and sharpen your chain…
Gonna try this
tighten the chain. It will cut easier and faster. Good way to cut your leg or foot. Keep the saw up against the log.
That is Awesome Thanks 😊
Thank you for sharing. We will be trying this in the spring. 😊🔥
Swiss? You mean Swedish?
Learn how to use and maintain a chainsaw should be a priority for you. Chain is about to come off. ... light it in the middle not all over for the best results
I think you should probably wear long pants when using a chain saw (and NEVER) hold the log with your foot when cutting, particularly when your leg is directly under where you are cutting
that made me nervous too...but I think he truly does know what he is doing..this channel is awesome.
Did you use a rip cut blade?
Citronella is toxic to the lungs no?
how long does it burns for
How long does one that size burn?
Might as well just dump the bottle on it.....
Guess what I'm making tomorrow lol
Tighten that chain
Tighten the chain then maybe sharen it it was painful watching you cut with a blunt saw
This is called a jätkänkynttilä, jack's candle. It's from Finland. As usual the Swedes stole the idea and pretended they thought of it.
And then the Swiss stole it from them
Tighten that fucking chain before it flies off the bar!
That's not how you make a Swedish!! Log. Nor how you burn it. As for the rest 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
Fyi Swiss log is a chocolate cake.
Can do this with axe
Don't cut your hand off, lol...
Don't cut your hand off, that's why I'm wearing gloves. I can easily grow another leg though...........
Who cares ? I guess anyone who knows there is a massive difference between Sweden & Switzerland ! You people from the United states get proper narky if you are refered to as Americans or worse still Canadian 😂
lol..i was just about to say the same thing.. "who cares?" they are literally two different countries!
@@martinadrianarcenas867 He never said the contrary. Did it originate in Sweden or Switzerland? Who cares, is what he said. I don't know why you're assuming he doesn't know the swiss are from switzerland
Dont cut yourhand off. 🤣 facepalm.
