  • Hegra (Al-Hijr ٱلْحِجْر) also known as Mada’in Salih مَدَائِن صَالِح Madāʼin Ṣāliḥ, is an archaeological site located in the area of Al-'Ula within Medina Province in the Hejaz region, Saudi Arabia. A majority of the remains date from the Nabataean Kingdom (1st century AD).
The site constitutes the kingdom's southernmost and second largest city after Petra (now in Jordan), its capital city.

When you put up quotes from Quran/hadith etc. could you leave it up for a few more seconds as I felt a bit rushed to read them, thank you

    Quick question!
Are Thamud and Nabateans same people and civilization or they are different civilizations in different times of history but happen to live at the same place?

There seems to be a contradiction. Quran usually mention hud salih and lut as those before abraham and moses. So how are you saying it was all the way in the 2nd century before christ very close to the time of christ.
When moses was way before 14bce
And as for abraham he came way before moses and lut
And hud and thamud came before them

I think you need to come visit Hegra as your information is not accurate and the images used are not all of Hegra.

The Nabateans lived in both Al Ula and Petra, how ever Al Ula is much much older that Petra which was built to be the main trading hub in the Northern Territories of The ancient kingdom, because of this Petra became an extremely wealthy and influential city in the kingdom.

Its difference of opinion of folk salih it is argued it is not the place of salih . And I believe this too because the folk of salih they were the most best curving sculptural of mountains and this area looks like simple like Jordan Petra
