I understood those films far better than you guys.. I liked political Ambition part in Godavari film. Those are stories with very good music and very subsimissive taking. You are so right . He talks well , that’s his strong suit . But, he cannot take u into his story . Look at gentleman movie , u don’t feel for the dying Nani , the heroine says her soul mate is dead and u feel nothing.
I think you are making a false equivalency here by comparing Mohan Krishna with Cameron & Shyamalan. They are both born in different countries, brought up in different milieus and have different audience to which they cater to. If you wish to make a correct comparison, compare him with his colleagues who have made so many bullshit films in the name of popular entertainment. Cinema progresses in a slow manner and Mohan Krishna here is a perpetrator of that change in cinema undoubtedly.
