    Excellent instructional presentation!
    Also, seeing your "common errors" input helps CFI candidates in expecting and recognizing these student errors. Nice!

      Windtee A big ‘wing rockin’ thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!

    To stop the rush to power on and install the wings, I was taught to say "Recover" while unstalling the wing and pushing the throttles forward. It really helped me to realise I can slow the process down, to be smooth and not be jerky on the recovery. Great videos by the way

    During my commercial training, my instructor taught me advanced stalls. A year later he crashed with a student conducting stalls. Always serious stuff to do with a student.

    I am convinced there is a small club of basement dwellers that troll YT giving thumbs down to videos, they don't even watch them, they just thumb down them to get their jollies. Great video! JA

    • @LewDixAviation
      @LewDixAviation  4 роки тому

      Haha it takes a very sad individual to sit there and be that offended by a video, that they must, before doing anything else, make sure they give it an anonymous thumbs down. This isn’t a customer service channel, I make the videos that I wanna make. Nobody is forced to watch haha.. Thank you for watching mate! I appreciate the support

    I know its bad to do this but recovering from stalls I have have the urge to use a very very very small amount of aileron. Most of the time i catch myself so im getting better.

    • @LewDixAviation
      @LewDixAviation  6 років тому

      Matthew Gut it’s a natural reaction. If a car was turning away from you, you would turn the wheel yea.. natural reaction.. just got to train yourself to react with your feet in a plane

    Will that plane do full spins if you let it?
    My instructor says the plane I fly doesnt want to spin unless you really force it to. Its a Cherokee 140.

    • @LewDixAviation
      @LewDixAviation  6 років тому

      RollTide8569 If you’re uncoordinated and force it in, it will spin, however they are not approved so you can’t intentionally put one into a spin

    7:30 - HAHAH i know he's a student but i found this quite funny. - uses aileron in stall, 2 hands on yoke, doesnt apply full power smoothly.

    Learning to stall an aircraft isn't a skill needed for PPL. Recovering from a stall is..:)

    • @LewDixAviation
      @LewDixAviation  6 років тому +4

      DustinLaughs incorrect sir.. For example if you go into a power on stall on your checkride without properly slowing the plane down to rotation speed, you WILL fail.. 😉
