www.premiumrop... We advice to make a whipping on the end of double braided ropes to keep core and cover together. Premiumropes sells various whipping twine in many colours.
@@Premiumropes Thank you very much for the reply, can you tell me wich tool to use to splice a brummel lock with 1.2/1.5 mm dyneema rope? I use them for kitesurfing. Thanks again and sorry for the offtopic about this video
I’ve been looking for a quick whipping method like this for a while. Really useful!
Glad it was helpful!
That line will be out of service before that whipping fails. I love it!
Indeed it will!
The video I was exactly looking for…. Thanks! ❤️
Lovely video👏
Thank you 🤗
💯👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Parabéns um lindo trabalho ⛵👍
what's the diameter of the whipping twine in this case?
hello. i am curious of the length of twine that is being used.
It depends on the diameter of the rope. It usually is around 70-80cm
is 0.5 mm wire good for this operation?
Thanks
This is possible. It's only ment to keep the core and cover in place.

No problem. We use the D-Splicer F-10 for line up to 3mm. www.premiumropes.com/d-splicer-804-d-splicer-fixed
Which yarn is used?
What size needle is he using? or does it matter?
We use these needles: www.premiumropes.com/needles
The size doesn't matter for this whipping. For a whipping on a splice a thinner needle is recommended.
Is that the same way you do on tapering line connection?
Hi, it is the same whipping as used on a tapered line! The stitching prevents the core and cover from moving when the rope is not under tension.
@@Premiumropes Thanks, helped me a lot!
Great company De Lijnenspecialist. Bought a couple of times there. Top service and excellent site 👍
Thank you for the nice compliment Fabien!
