- Dive into Zed-infested waters, as developer and publisher Tripwire Interactive announces the launch of the Killing Floor 2 Deep Blue Z update, out now for PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), the PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®4 Pro computer entertainment systems, and Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X. Today’s Killing Floor 2 update unleashes a wave of new content including a new map, weekly game mode, weapons, and more.
As a veteran player from the beta days, I'm still so genuinely surprised at all the support that KF2 **STILL** gets, even so long after launch.
If KF3 ever comes out, if it can give me HALF of the replay value of KF2-- I'd say its worth it.

Yeah, it looks like garbage and hardly like an improvement over KF2. I saw it, terrible anyone would wanna look at that or rate that trash positive. It looks terrible for this year, it plays boring and the cutscenes are such low effort they're broken lol

Unlike you I informed myself, example being when you pass out and the guys save you and chain you up - yeah the thing doesn't even go around your arm wow nice effort there.
Now compare Dead Islands 2 graphics to lets say Battlefront 2. Now check when Battlefront 2 came out...
Instead of calling everyone a troll, raise your bar and dont eat up everything. Its a visually bad game for this year, which was to be expected considering it was stuck in development hell. Would've been okay for like 2015.

Whats there to fall for? I gave you an example thats clear enough lol as a comparison and another to show the effort of the *amazing* cutscenes. You can check that in any lets play.
This game deserves so mucho attention, its a masterpiece and a big example of a game that its constant with good content and they care about they player base. Keep up the good work you guys are the best!

Used it myself recently; has the spam fire speed of gunslinger akimbos with the punch of a shotgun, paired with an on demand "back off" grenade that hits fairly hard, and can give Support/Survivalist players some much needed breathing room. Only has the one upgrade, but it's fairly meaty on its own.
@toasted they're fake fans. Can't believe they didn't mention medic shotty, useful alt too. Helps heal the medics if you're any other class and its fairly strong
I hope that Killing Floor 3 is more terrifying and that it generates tension in me like 1.
Crazy to see the game still gets updates...everything about this game is prefect gun sound, reload animations graphics/maps design, crazy amount of details in game ect...on PS4 especially online gameplay there is so much going on screen & the fps will never drop...crazy
Yeah I just started playing 2 weeks ago thanks to ps plus and its constant 60fps even with full players its kinda crazy, i would buy it long ago if i knew this

I remember one time I wanted to play a game with a very specific build I wanted to use some kind of turret with a riot shield and for fun make the character some kind of clown then low and behold they add the turret
Then just the other day I was wanted to play as basically a one man walking artillery and yesterday I find there is now a grenade launching turret

Fix the ps4 console version of the game, because its a PowerPoint presentation on higher waves( low fps) and it has a matchmaking issue, which causes the game to crash when it finds a server.

I love this game, but the developers began to make stupid updates and unfinished ones. In the latest update at the moment, in the new weapon of the support fighter "shocker S12", they didn't even want to make a new voice acting, but copied the voice acting from a single shot from the scar-h weapon, do you hold people for fools at all? The problems in pvp mode with the stun of zeds, the so-called "eternal stun", have not been solved by the third update in a row. What are you doing there? It's better to close this game completely and stop spoiling it, leave it cool in your memories. You have made the characteristics of a field medic worse. What for? After so many years of release, have you thought about changing something when everyone is already used to it? it is better to leave everything as it is and do not scare away at least the old players on whom your game generally keeps at least some number of online players. Do your donation weapons further, as you did and do not touch the characteristics of the perks.
Update PVP mode in KF2. Add all Bosses. not only Patriarch

Please, for the love of God, for kf3 don't make the weapons pay to use. I feel like kf2 wouldve had a much stronger player base rn if they didnt decide to go the pay to play route. There should be more rewards for actually PLAYING the game, especially since the game isn't free to play. Also, please bring back the original killing floor theme song and the "horror" element to the game. Make the ZEDs look more "human-like," which is one thing that made them more terrifying in the first killing floor compared to the second. I just want a quality game that will last much longer and have more players than a game that turned into a sell-out and lost most of it's player base. We can tell when passion is prioritized over a price tag. Also PLEASE make the game more optimized. Kf2 takes forever to load.
Why did they score on Russian voice acting? Half of our lobby consists of Russians.

Rising Storm 2 Vietnam was already horrible, I have little confidence that this studio can deliver another PTSD experience like RO2 again. All the things that made RO2 great weren't in Rising Storm 2 anymore, even if gameplay-wise they added some good things it lacked what defines a Red Orchestra so I dont know if another one would truly be satisfying.
What everyone wishes for is the scale of RO1 with the gameplay/depth/feeling of RO2, put all that in EU5 and you outclass all the other cheap copies like Hell Let Loose tenfolds.

This game so outdated and waterd down... no next gen ps5 or series x upgrade🤦♂️ at least give an next gen upgrade to the consoles for kf2... but the gaming industry got lazy and down bad🤦♂️
They need to make kf3 they fucked kf2 up so much with glitches and hrg and a lack of new content because of an outdated engine they arent even using ue4 they are using ue3 by this time they could’ve easily used ue4 but were to lazy to (ue3-2009) (ue4-2015)
Tbh a "next gen" upgrade isn't worth it. KF2 looks and runs fine, its not watered down and neither do you need a next gen upgrade for consoles. Its fine the way it is for what it wants to be and for its age.
Its simply that the game has reached the "end of its life" considering how old it is, this is what you meant with outdated. Its just not holding up anymore to what people would like to see today with all the cool showcases of the UE5 and I doubt a simply upgrade would cut it.
Its why what everyone wants is the next installments on their series with UE5 so a Killing Floor 3 or a Red Orchestra 2.
They also did not got lazy but simply released different games nobody asked for if you check their channel out more they love to make boring spy games now that maybe 2% of their community plays lol while it feels like they neglect their core franchises and community, sadly a common issue once a studio grows too big.

I think its okay where it is but they should do it like in KF1 and "finish" the game with one big update and call it final then simply work on KF3 and use UE5 :)

Tripwire is a legendary game development team. Stoked for this new map. Also I’ve always wanted to participate in a summer side show but have always missed the opportunities. But now I can FINALLY enjoy the seasonal freaks coming out to tear stuff up.

been playing this since KF was a mod to unreal torunament. So looking forward to see it live on and develop into new versions. Though Im more than satisfied with KF2 I wonder what KF3 could be like ;D But I understand it might be risky to pull off.
