I have been watching your videos for years Ken. You are an awesome person. I just enjoy watching them every time. Never gets boring. Keep up the good work.
Hello Ken. Thank you for sharing your vlog. I did my internship in Seattle area, Kent to be specific. Seattle is my favorite city in the world. Too bad I could not stay because of the visa issue. I had to fly home. I miss Seattle a lot. Sometimes I see the emerald city in my dreams. Your vlog has really brought back sweet memories. Part of me will always stay there, my ambition, my desire, my dream, my tears and my joy. Hope you will enjoy your stay! Please share more! I appreciate! I have never been to Toronto though, wish I could go there!
Kitchener and Waterloo (in Ontario, Canada) have installed a similar light rail transit system and are now testing it. TWO universities and a community college... they need it!
The Gold ones came out in 2002 with Sacagawea on it, and then in 2005 the United States started the Presidental Gold Coin Series. The "silver" coins Susan B. Anthony coins were processed from 1979 to 1981 and than they picked it back up in 1999.
Hope you had an awesome time ken! Thanks for taking your time with the video! You deserve to enjoy the trip more and not stress over shitty internet lol! Glad you had fun this weekend
You can occasionally get a Sacajawea (sp?) dollar in change in Canada as it is so similar in most respects to a loonie that most people don't give it a second glance. Have visited the west coast of the U.S. a couple of times over the years. Seattle is a great city (Red Hook Brewery, Pike Place Brewery... absolutely great seafood). I would have to confess that Oregon is my favourite state overall though (geologist, history buff and craft beer fanatic).
Usa has had alot of different 1$ coins. The gold sacagawea ones were popular when they first came out but the popularity dies quickly. We love our paper money
Oh yeah, my favorite summer beer, Hefeweizen - preferably brewed by Seattle's Pyramid Ale House! Pronounced "hef-a-visen" - and yes, you needed to squeeze that lemon into it... SO tasty!
A vending machine in Florida gave me some dollar coins once, I used them to tip at a restaurant in Ohio, and the waitress had no idea what they were...Counting the days till I’m going back to Pearson, now I know to just have Tim Hortons, :)
The US keeps trying to replace dollar bills with dollar coins, but they just aren't popular with the public and are often only used as change from ticket/vending machines that need to give back larger amounts of change. The Sacagawea one is the most recent one and was even mocked on The Simpsons where Lisa gets one and Marge says, "It's a Sacagawea dollar. You can trade it at the bank for a real dollar." I've had the cod fish & chips at Athenian numerous times and love it...especially the tartar sauce. I don't care for the coleslaw, though, as it's a bit bland. Their eggs benedict is nice too, served on a bed of hash browns.
Ken as you know now its all about the size of the $Dollar coins as they are all the same, size always matters m8... From Jersey in the US and big fan of you...
Pretty sad that you gotta go all the way to SEATTLE WASHINGTON from CANADA to basically get decent WHITE PEOPLE FOOD like Fish N Chips or a Fish Fry. Sad how basically all the old Diners are disappearing and it is either Fast Food or Asian Fusion with their being less and less places left where one can get Liver N Onions, Steak N Kidney Pie, Shepherd's Pie, Meat Pies, Bangers N Mash....Corned Beef and Hash, or anything resembling traditional WHITE PEOPLE FOOD anywhere anymore in Canada. Kind of sad how us WHITE PEOPLE are basically foreigners in our own country these days. I mean I love me Jerk Chicken, PHO and other foods too---but sometimes I really crave good old traditional White Comfort Food and i just can't find it anywhere anymore. And if I do, it is now considered "gourmet" and I have to pay like $18 for some Liver N Onions, LMFAO. Sometimes I really wonder what has happened to CANADA in the last 20 years or so and what this country is going to look like in another 20 years.

Hey ken. What didn’t the checkin like about your drone?. I’ve got a ph4. 🇦🇺
I mentioned it in the vlog, they only wanted to swab my Canon Camera

Silver ones are older ones. We also have 50 cent pieces
Nice houseboat. Cute and comfy.
I always eat a lot of seafood in Seattle, Fish tacos and Cod were good choices. Some people live year round on house boats docked like that.
I think it has been awhile since we've seen Jim. Great vlog as always. Looking forward to the rest of the Seattle vlogs.
The FIRST Starbucks is at Pike Place Market 👍😎☕️
Mannys is a great local beer. Also check out Pike Place and Elysian brews
Did you get a coffee at Starbuck's #1?

The dollar coin was short lived here in Arkansas trial thing I guess nobody accepts them keep sakes now. I don’t think you can get them.

I like the creeper that was just staring like a zombie at your camera standing in the aisle so annoying
Great vid Ken - misspelled turbulence.
The US dollar coins aren't an everyday thing. I've mainly seen them at the post office.

All of Kens traveling friends seem kind of rude to Ken.. Paul’s cool though
I've got the feeling that Ken is an annoying travel buddy. He seems like a bit of a prick.
