Nice little tank. When everyone talks to me about the cost of a saltwater tank, I point out that it doesn't have to be huge. Corals are spendy though. I have a 90 gallon and have vids of it on my channel.

I love this tank I just got a hold of a 10 gallon tank and I want to do this our daughter but her dad want to put hold fish in it and call it a day but I want go all out what’s a girl to do?
I just bought a bunch of corals from a live auction and seems none of them will work on rock but just floor.. I thought chalice was what your montipora is and would look pretty on rock but I dont even know what to do with these coral. Also way to much purple and green, that she was offering, once I placed the first bid I was bound to the 30 shipping I prepaid so I Had to just go with it. I have candy canes, solid color, which I should have choose, just green! Blastomussa, not sure how any of these look on the rock bridge I was going to make. I have 4 different palys or zoas, chalice, weird names like tubinaroia, platgyra, which is a brain coral, duncan (I was stocked on that one! Colorful micro lord acan. and purple star poly! Is this all stuff that goes on a floor right? 230.00 bucks to. I have been had! I should have got the mushrooms, but she had them for 5.00 bucks and I couldn't manage to snag one up fast enough and torch coral. Based on what I have said, should I just place these on floor and not make the rock bridge? I had a birdnest in my cart and removed it and a digitata 10 bucks for both and another sps, that grows tall! I wish I could just sell tham. I am going to try tomorrow to see if she will let me, change my order. I was afraid of the sps I name even though I love them but I dont have a skimmer and its my first tank. Plus its brand new. How are you managing corals that are supposed to b e hard in a 10 gallon? I am sure you must not have special gear with such a small system. Do you have any advise on placement of these corals? I am so disappointed of getting these but it was a fast paced thing and no time for thought as things would go in an instant and towards the end of the two day thing I just started bidding on anything cheap because most people charge 45.00 shipping, local shops would hssvr dp

I have a 10 gallon nano as well. I used to do 5 gallons every 4 weeks but was getting crashes more often. I started doing 2 gallon changes every 2 weeks and has been wonderful for the past 2 years. After about the 6 months of having it, I stopped checking parameters and stuff. I just check my salinity every now and then and just keep on my water changes and rinse the filter sponge out every month. After I stopped paying too much attention to it, the tank honestly ran better and less crashes. I’ve ran nothing but nanos. None of my saltwater tanks have been more then 15 gallons in the past 15 years, due to space but always been interested in it.
@@madlos123 What kind of reef club? I would love to trade my frags, They are all mostly purple and green colrs. I left the comment about the live auction/sale. Seems her entire inventory was purple and green. I was thinking about setting up my small 5 gallon to to split hem up. If i added oranges and pink and yellows it would be beautiful neon color tank, mostly all floor corals though! Sps is what grows pretty of rocks and I am a newbie with no skimmer or knowledge of more difficult corals!
I've been shopping. I had a 29 Biocube during my earlier years of college. In the middle of buying a house so after I close I'm thinking about getting a 32 Biocube!

I used a Jebao PP4 in this tank. You can use any newer smaller Jebao.
