Literally my favourite version of this song, I just understand this character perfectly when acted like this, love love love it

she acted the song a little too much. the sincerity of the song was lost. that's just my opinion.
Someone should let you know what theatre is if you're not familiar. Acting comes first, singing comes second.

Part of the beauty of theatre is that everyone has their own interpretations and thoughts about a piece. We can disagree with others without being disrespectful. Every person in the word could preform this piece and it would be different every time. I think that’s beautiful.
I'm definitely agree with you. I don't like this version. She doesn't act the song, she overact the song, and indeed, the sincerity of the song was lost. She divided the story of the song in little pieces, sentence by sentence, and doesn't see it in an integral way, as a hole story. This moment is like "I know I want to break up with you but I'm trying to give you the laaaast opportunity" and I definitely don't see that. Her voice is amazing, so powerful and sweet, but just to conclude my comment, looks like she knows she is a good singer and tried to show off that.
