Bagheera looks absolutely beautiful…would never guess her age by looking at her.❤
She certainly doesn’t look her age, she’s a beautiful looking mare, I love her soft face ❤
I really enjoyed the show!! All your horses & all your students did a wonderful job!!!🐴💞😍
I love how you always put the horses and students first...it is not all about wining. it's about having fun.
I love that about Shae and her training. The girls and horses did wonderful. Everyone had a good time.
Anyone else dying to see Zazu clean up in Western Pleasure? What a sweet, sweet guy!
I won’t put those bits in my horses mouths any longer just for shows.
They all did great, horses and riders. And didn't Zazu take it all in his little gaited stride. He looks to be a lovely chilled individual. If he were mine I'd be fizzing inside with glee for picking such a winner to compliment a great team.
I really appreciate how supportive and positive you are! One of the things that made me stop riding as a kid was how much pressure my trainer put on me to win and perform. So happy to see everyone enjoying their day!
Yeah I can’t stand that type of attitude haha. We try and work hard but it’s about your personal goals :)
Just love your goals as an instructor. I still remember removing my daughter from a trainer that encouraged competition between his students! Ugh. Riding and showing should above all else be fun!!! I loved being show moms with a friend at the local 4H shows. Our girls regularly shared outfits and tack for the classes, laughing all the while!
Your students are sooooo lucky!! Not only do you give them the opportunity to show and have fun with your horses (which all look amazing) but you also install good horsemanship skills something that not other instructors do . Congrats to all!!!
I was a horse show judge for many years judging open shows as well as breed shows all over the country. Judged a number of times in Michigan. I really appreciate seeing the positive attitudes of your students and your horses. It's obvious that it comes from you. Everyone likes to be recognized with a ribbon but the emphasis you put on just having a good time, enjoying the time spent with your horse is so important. You're doing a great job!
This is what showing is all about. Not only having fun and learning but good sportsmanship also. Shea you are an amazing instructor for these young riders. ❤
Look at Zazu - he is a true gem! Your students and all of the horses did great. Bagheera is absolutely stunning. She doesn’t look like 28 at all. She truly has had a very blessed second chance with you!
I really love to see that you attend shows but your first priority is always fun and your students and horses being a good team. They all did an amazing job! ♥
If the parents of those girls are there, they will be very proud. And the reason is that you are teaching them all very well.🥰
And they have so much fun😊
In the beginning it was so funny you could see penelope in the back looking around 😂😂😂
I love how smooth his gait is. When I purchase a horse again, I need a gaited horse! I have some nerve issues where a trot and me no longer work well together. It looks so comfortable to ride!
I’d also like to add that your students appear so kind! I grew up showing mostly in Berrien County Michigan, and there were an insane amount of horse snobs back then. Not just snobs but all around rude and mean. Not that you can tell by video, but I am sure your amazing attitude rubs off on your students!
@@freespiritequestrian
He is lovely! What breed is he? He is stockier than the gaited breeds I know offhand. I love his build. So cute!
Zazu would be great for senior riders with a bad back. He looks so smooth, and gentle!
lol you could do a whole ASMR short of just Penelope eating grass. Her tail is just the best
Oh that looks like a fun show to show what they all have learned
Oh that brought back memories.. Athena first time I won a blue ribbon in English pleasure and equitation was my last year showing 4-H I finally got to go to state and I got picked to sing in the 4-H choir and congress so that at the WI state fair which was the same time that was a hard decision to make. The girls looked sharp and so did the horses I still can’t get over the fact that Bagheera is 27 she is so beautiful
What a fun show! The kids are great to watch 😊
Penelope's tail is just going and going.. she is happy 🥰 Your horses do so well in all sorts of situations, you do a fantastic job of preparing them for all sorts of situations. I loved how they all justbstood there, unfazed by the train!
They all did great
I don’t know much about horses but Bagheera looks so interested and engaged with everything going on, she just looks really happy. ❤ They’re all lovely horses but she just warms my heart.
They all did so good. Still can't believe how red Jiminey mane is. That other appy in the class had some interesting marking.
Well done to your awesome students and horses! They did so well! 🎉❤
I love watching your videos. There's so much positivity! It's refreshing.
I just started watching a few months ago and young lady you are an inspiration!
It is amazing how your heart is is so dedicated to your animals and all of your students! Showing the world you don’t have to have the most expensive horse to show. If you put in the work and dedication you can make a difference in a horses life.
The confidence you are building for all of your students will last a lifetime and they will never forget you!
I could go on and on why I applaud you!!
And I cannot forget that absolute gem of a husband you have. Not only does he agree to your dream he is right there by your side helping you live it. You are a awesome team. Thanks for the great videos and all that you do for your corner of the world! Rachel
This means so much! I put so much effort into making this happen. Thanks!
Congratulations to your riders. I could hear the pride in your voice. Everyone was enjoying themselves. The horses all looked great! Bagheera is so beautiful, I'm in love! 😍
I love all your horses but Bagheera just looks so beautiful and sleek. That white saddle pad really shows her off too.
They all did beautifully, and then being let out to graze they look as if what we didn’t do anything but go for a ride. lol beautiful.
Looked like a fun day, thank you for taking us along. Everyone did great. ❤
Horses and riders all looked great! Blue ribbons for all!
Thank you for allowing your viewers to go to the show!!❤
The students looked so sharp! All of the horses seemed to understand it, and enjoyed the day too! Very smart !
Thank you!
It’s so funny that commented on how exquisite Bagheera is cuz I was just coming in to say how gorgeous she is! Exquisite is the perfect word!❤️❤️❤️
That was fun to watch. I’m proud of you, your riders, and your horses. Bageera is such a beauty. She’s caught my heart for a long time now. Zazu did so well for his first show!
Your mare Figura (spelling?!) is a wonderful example of how your kind, gentle manner and knowledge of horses turned this frightened, pained mare into the sweet, calm and happy horse she is today. You really are a wonderful example of horsemanship not only to your students but to the UA-cam viewers as well.
They would be the best and most loved schoolies on the planet and just look at their condition! Complete with dapples!
Congrats to your students! They all did great with the horses.
Bagheera looks absolutely STUNNING! You could never guess how old that beautiful girl is by looking at her, because she's had such amazing care from you! Bagheera will have a fulfilling live with you and I'm so happy to see that her age hasn't affected just how much she's loved throughout her life. Not to even mention just how well you care for each and every one of your horses and students. Thank you for sharing this with your viewers. ❤
💙 *ZAZU* 💙
you go Boy!
⚡🐎⚡
loved when he took a break before the events. lol!
Piper was great too🏇🏿
tfsharing💕
Everyone looked awesome Shae, nice job.
I love how your students ride! No one is hanging on the horses mouth. You can tell they are taught correctly and with respect for the horse. LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!
I can't believe Bagherra is 28...wow she's in great shape!
What a fun video, congratulations everyone, you all rode beautifully! 😍
Let the Show Season begin! 🎉 Your students and horses did great 🌞
Thank You for ALL(Horse&Rider). I enjoy your energy when you speak. You have found the key that unlocks the communication w horse/rider. ❤
What fun, Shae! Each of the four horses is special -- but this time there was something about Jimminey that made me grin. He is such a Big Boy, but is an absolute Angel also. Wahoo! 🤠🐴🐴🐴🐴💓
Had a good time watching, thanks. Liked seeing the Dad there supporting and doing maintenance to help his daughter. Fun day for all. ❤ 🐎 🐖 🐕 🇺🇸😊
Your students were doing amazing! Congrats to the students and horses!🐴❤
The students look so happy and are just so cute.
I love your teaching methods. You are a very positive person! I appreciate that the competition aspect isnt the priority. It's the horsemanship of the individual! You have a wonderful educational channel! Thank You! With love from Nina in Colorful Colorado USA 💖🇺🇸
Your horses look great. So fun to watch. Thanks for sharing 💜✌️
Congratulations everyone!! I'm proud of you all!! From a Retired Paramedic, and a S&R Dog and Handler Team Trainer,Horse Trainer and FEI Coach and Judge from Ontario, Canada, Jenn. 💖 🇨🇦🇺🇲
If I didn’t know better, I would think that Baghera is about five years old. She looks phenomenal.
All of your young riders did a great job. Showing really makes you focus on what you have learned. Congratulations to all.
Oh the students all look great. So nice.
So cool and it’s so important that riders and horses get the show experience and I hope that bell has a great delivery ❤
That sweet little girl kissin Zazu👼👼👼! I'm just happy when I watch your uploads with the kids and trail rides ANY of them lol! I love that you are so caring and kind Shay! You're generous with your time and your precious horses too. You're fast becoming my idle lol!!🐎❤🐴❤🐴
Great video as usual. I love the way you rehabilitate the horses that need it and improve the once that don't. Your great love of horses is evident in the way you pass on your knowledge to your students.
It’s my true passion and I love seeing them transform. It’s so rewarding! Then being able to share them with my students is the cherry on top. 💖
I LOVE this so much! It actually made me teary! Seriously, Shae, my current dream is to tag on a week to visit you for a horse camp next time we go to the States to visit family (we're in Jerusalem). You have the same patient ethic towards your students as your horses, and I love that so much. I think the worst thing an instructor can do is harshly correct a rider, because then the horse feels her anxiety! Your students all seemed relaxed and confident, and they had great form on the horses. You are precious and so good at what you do.
Great video lovely to see the pupils doing some great riding. All the horses looked really good. Baghera is wonderful for her age. Xx
I love how you always speak so positively to your students and encourage them to have fun and enjoy the experience. You're the kind of trainer every equestrian dreams of. 👍
Also about Zazu: Can he trot at all? Over here, Icelandic horses are very popular. They're gaited but can trot too. Just wondering. They're usually 4 gaiters but sometimes 5 gaiters (3 + Tölt & Pass).
@@freespiritequestrian Ok, thanks for clarifying. I thought that was his type of special gait, like Tölt. Never seen this breed moving :)
Wow, fantastic! 💖 And whether others are aware, you're right in that not all horses make good show horses. Hard to find all-around good horses (not to diminish other horses that may be excellent in their fields; my horse made a great, safe trail horse and I was happy w/that). Your horses and students were awesome! Very impressive! 💞
Oh,what fun. Everyone both horses and rider/ students looked like they had such a good time in all their classes.A wonderful time was had by all. That Jiminy such beautiful colors and an I just want to go fast, mom attitude...but he is so beautiful with his coloring and markings. A great day was had by all...including us. Thanks.
Hi again SHAE
A fun day for all! Always so happy to see what great condition your horses are in. You've transformed them all in one way or another to look and feel good but also be receptive to your training/conditioning. You also allow them time to be horses which is soo important.
You're giving your students wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.
Thx as always fir sharing!
well done everyone.
Amazing video like always. Zazu is so beautiful, and everyone did so good in the show. I've never ridden a gaited horse myself, but my friend who rides in the same lesson as me does. She rides a pony named Bella who used to do harness racing so she paces. She looks so smooth riding a gaited horse, meanwhile I'm over here riding the bounciest horse in the barn 😂
I bet so rewarding for all involved. Horses and riders were fantastic. 🐴🏇Thank you for sharing this special day !
I love how positive you are with your students. I always hated seeing trainers that were negative. Like it's ok to be critical without riding their students case, but you have such an awesome attitude. Please never stop
Lots of fun in the sun...Horses and riders all look fantastic....i have a very soft spot for Bagheera, she is beautiful...🐎
Everyone looked great! You have a great class and they did good!
So lovely, you share your joy with the world ♥️
We are blessed 💯
Your students did a great job out there! Ty for taking them out to experience more than just lessons in the arena. Good job everyone!!!
I love your attitude to your students and to your horses; kindness, encouragement and fostering real enjoyment of being with your horse. Your horses and your pupils are lucky to have you.
I am so pleased you support local showing. These are so much fun and an incredible learning experience. They give your students and horse an opportunity to shine.
@@freespiritequestrian you are a such an incredible woman. I wish l had the opportunity for you to be my trainer . My entire outlook on life would have changed. Bless you 🙏
I suppose your students love to be at your ridingschool. You're the only one who take her students to a show. They must feel fantastic. How do you make the horse choise for each rider?🥰
I love those countryshows. And Zazu? He was the best. And the others? They were the best too. And the students? They all looked gotgeous.
Look at all those smiles on your ladies! Congratulations to them and your young lady doing her first show; you looked wonderful and confident! Keep pursuing your talent 👍Zazu is just so chill and looked wonderful! It’s great opportunity to offer a variety of riding options to your students. Free Spirit is such blessing to both horse and rider 💕🌻
Shae, can I come ride with you?! Omg, this brought back memories! Great job, everyone!
Piper is a superb young rider and Zazu did her proud 😊 all the others were great too, well done to you all👏
What a great day! Happy students, happy horses, very relaxing. Congratulations to all!🥰
I watch a lot of horse videos. All the way up to the highest levels. I love them all. What I love about you and Free Spirit is that you teach your kids the fundamentals and you teach them to ride and have confidence. They learn sportsmanship and horsemanship and that fancy isn't always expensive and that a great horse is not just about bloodlines. My first horse, while not from an auction was an off-the-track TB. I knew nothing. I had nothing. But I loved to ride and your horse show brought me back to that. Fun, a little competitive but mostly there do what I love doing and that was being with horses. Your girls are incredible, quiet young riders who are learning that what glitters isn't always gold. That being said. All of your horses look happy and sweet and your riders look excited and proud. Great job!!
You are the best UA-camr you don’t care about the wining you just care about having fun you always share the experience with us and you so nice ❤
That was so much fun to watch
What an amazing team of young and talented riders. Congratulations to all!!!
all good riders and horses proud teacher too
Good job guys!!!!! I could feel the love you have for your students and of course the horses. I really enjoyed this video!
I just adore the fact that you have a pig as a pet. She is so sweet and I love the way she gets baby talked :P
Everyone did great! So happy to see the horses doing so well with the students.
This is a dream for so many!
That was a great show, your students and the horses did a wonderful job. I can't believe Bagera is 28 years old 😲 he certainly doesn't look it, he looks great 👍
Well done to everyone involved in this fun event, and beautiful Bagheera what an amazing job you’ve done with her Shae, tfs x Julie 🇬🇧
♥114 K subscribers and counting! Yay! Shae, May 31st is on my calendar🎯
I just love how positive you are, such an amazingly kind lady, you restore my faith in humanity. Ty for the videos, it is a pleasure to see your horses in action.
Good job everybody! Horses and humans! 😁
Congratulations to you all 🎉

Piper: She's on my fox-trot, gaited new boy, so lucky to get him, and Piper did "fantastic" with him and he did the patterns so well.
Leah: She's on my childhood horse for fox hunting, trail and barrel racing and he loves to go fast, but she also did a "great" job honing him in, yay!
Alicia: She did the English walk-trot "so well." You're "doing great" along the fence.
Grayson: She is "phenomenal" and this is Bagheera's (27 years old) first show in the walk-trot class.
A very happy subscriber, and your student riders performed magnificently. Took me back a few years, lol, when I ate donuts. But the Frappe, that your assistant did a salud! with, at the camera, made the perfect toast for a perfect show.
♥♥♥♥♥
very well done all the riders and horses looked lovely zazu is a smooth mover
homework- study that little pattern with the cone lol
Love seeing the show. The horses and riders were great. Keep up the good work!!❤❤❤🎉
WHAT DOES GAITED MEAN?!
A gaited horse is a horse that moves each leg independently. Doing so allows one foot to constantly be on the ground, allowing the horse to conserve more energy than they would while trotting. Gaited horses are used for traveling as they have greater stamina and endurance. To put it simply a gaited horse, moves like a regular horse does at a walk, it places all four feet down independently, the difference is in the upper speeds, the next speed for a trotting horse is a trot, and for a gaited horse it is just a faster walk, and some gaited horses can walk so fast that even the trotting.
Thank you so much for explaining this again in a way I could understand. This finally makes sense to me. Are horses trained to be gaited, bred that way or perhaps a little of both?
@@justplanebob105 gaited horses are born that way but some horses can improve or bring out their gait with more training.
Love gaited horses , but it kinda stinks not alot of shows have classes for them
He looks sooo smooth ❤
Thank you so much for saying that I am your biggest fan I watch you every day
