yeah same and at school everytime I ask the teacher how to do a question, they just came up to me and say "How do you think you'll do" and then walks away, this is why school teachers are really bad at teaching
@@ninjapirate123 Oh alright I wasn’t sure. Yeah there are some pretty bad teachers out there. I think the main problem comes down to how funding works. Schools should not be funded based on property taxes since it is impossible for students to grow out of low income areas with the low grade schools they have supplied. It creates an endless cycle of people going to public schools, failing out, and moving into dead end jobs where they start families and have kids that go right through the same process. Countries should spend less on defense and more on infrastructure, otherwise we are all going to suffer in the long run.
@@kingklaus2115 In my country, going to school is free for everyone, the government pays money for students to go to school. It's only teachers that doesn't teach so well
Funny how the school system is so ineffective at making barely any talent grow, yet ALOT of people just take grades as if it was all your worth listed in a piece of paper. Good thing it isn't all people if so then society would take a bad direction. This channel is very good.
This guy rightfully gets a lot of positive comments. I was stuck on what derivates actually mean and his explanation of how the y-values of the derivate is the slope of the original function at every x-value explains everything. I'm very happy to know I get it now.
If only I'd used your videos to teach myself these things sooner I wouldn't have failed calculus my first try! With your help I finally understand these concepts (and you make them seem simple) and I will hopefully pass this time around thanks to your help. Thank you!
I have test on everything in this video tomorrow in my calc class and I was completely lost before watching this video. Now that I've watched this and taken notes I understand everything very well and feel prepared for mt test that As of half a hour ago I thought I was going to fail. Thank you so much!!
I cannot believe how long it took me to just start using Snipping Tool to do the problems before they were solved. It is good practice & I can see if I am right. Also, unrelated opinion. I think that the Organic Chemistry Tutor is better than Khan Academy in many aspects. I just got done watching of Sal's videos, and it did not help, but this is a lifesaver!

Put different values of x in the equation {Say, for example, f(x)=x^2}, note down the corresponding values for f(x). Mark these values of x and their corresponding values for f(x) on the co-ordinate axis. P.S: Take f(x) as your vertical axis and x as the horizontal axis.
at 24:45 shouldn't the function be increasing at -2 to -1 and 2 to 3 alsoh because first derivative is also positive there .please answer iam really having trouble understanding this area . thanks
yes the second interval where the function concave down supposed to be (-1,2), because the second derivative on the interval (-1,2) is negative (meaning the rate of the first derivative function on interval (-1,2) is decreasing). I think he just did a typo.. CMIIW
Btw Thank you , you here helped me big time ! I have my A levels tomorrow, I know everything except this Gradient Function which got added into new Syllabus
