That's one thing I like about Michigan towns and cities. There is so much great history and beautiful architecture! I try my best to find great and valuable information! I did not plan the bells going off which made for a fun surprise! Thanks for watching!
@@scottman895 Yup, while the downtown is not worth visiting, there is a little place called park lake creamery on the lake which is definitely worth visiting
Nice that you did another Off The Beaten Path episode! When are your other freeway videos coming? I know that I-75 South (I-94 to MI-OH Border) will come soon. Did you have time to check out who I've recommended? Could you check out Whales' album, Pelagios? Also, could you also check out Chick-fil-a?
I enjoy making them! I'm not sure if you caught the quick freeway segment in there (of US 127)! As for full freeway videos, I think the next one is still about 5-7 weeks off (there are others I have to get uploaded first). I haven't had time to check any of those out yet. I probably won't cover Chick-fil-A in its own video because it is a major chain, but I can see me possibly eating some in a vlog sometime especially with there being one at the airport here in Detroit!
Thank you for this. I grew up in St. Johns. I haven't been back for a few decades. It was lovely to see how much and how little has changed.
You're welcome! St. Johns is quite a nice community. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching!
We use to live there. My parents at once ran the Saltbox.
Very nice! That's awesome!
My hometown!
Nice video! Love small town USA!
Same here! Thanks for watching!
Nice job. Wife and I live in Saint Johns
Thank you very much!
Illinois has a DeWitt County with Clinton as its county seat.
That is very cool! I'm sure they probably got the names from the same person.
@@scottman895 yes Clinton DeWitt was who both places were named after.
@@robertsitch1415 Gotcha, that makes sense.
Wow some 150 year old+ buildings there. You did your research of a lot of the area's attractions. Wow you got the clock tower bell. 👏🏻

You should go to bath, mi which is near dewitt
That's not a bad idea. I've heard about Bath and the very sad story which happened there.

It looks like the odd business downplays their product quality in advertising.
Yup, I have noticed that.
@@scottman895 here in Canada Buckleys cough syrup had the honest slogan "It tastes awful and it works"
@@robertsitch1415 Lol, I like that one!
@@scottman895 yes for much of the late 20th century the founder Frank Buckley appeared in ads which he would say that at the end.
@@robertsitch1415 That's a very good advertising campaign. Repetition can be key for good marketing when it is done right.
