You have one of the most unique throws I've ever seen. I know you said you had some problems with some shoulder or elbow issues. Dart-itis. It's crazy how many movements you do in a single toss.
Yep, dartitis did me in years ago. I had to quit for a while because I couldn't physically throw a dart. I eventually powered through it and refused to quit but now I'm left with this throw. Thankfully I managed to find a way to be somewhat accurate though.
That is a nice set of darts. I have 2 sets of KOTO darts presently but I can see that increasing. I always liked the look of their Flights. They just look so cool to me. Great review WW. I see your aim has found it's way back to you. I knew it would not take long. Thumbs Up.
Love the micro /LP grip on these, always have. When they are a bit worn, they make for a good clean release, and they stay like that for years. Just the perfect amount of grip for me. I stocked up on RvBs years ago, but this a great deal. Thanks for the info WWD, and great throwing!

Awesome video and Outstanding set of darts!! It truly is hard to believe what you get for $35. Getting a setup like that in USA would run you more than double the price.

They look like an absolute steal and also remind me of the Bull's Dirk van Duijvenbode darts - I guess Dirk was a Barney fan growing up! Just a shame that Dartshopper don't ship to the UK (as far as I can tell anyway), although we are a bit spoiled by darts shops already.
Yeah, spot on about the DvD darts. Bull's has a couple sets with this same micro ring grip pattern. Although they cost about twice as much as these. I was actually quite surprised when my buddy sent me that pic of the Unicorn RvB darts. I didn't realize they were that close of a match. Shame that Dartshopper doesn't ship to the UK. What about the Dartshopper.NL site? Must be something to do with Brexit?
@@WorldwideDarts I don't know the reason but I guess Brexit does have some part to play. On dartshopper.com it doesn't bring up a shipping option when trying to checkout. And on dartshopper.nl, it doesn't have the UK as an option when selecting the country of your address. If anyone from the UK has been able to order stuff from dartshopper please let me know!
I ordered 2 sets of these a week ago. I've owned 5 sets of 23g Unicorn RVB Phase 4's in the past, and the micro grip has worn down so much that I couldn't use any of them them anymore. And couldn't buy any replacements since about 2018. Hopefully these are as close to the Barney's as they look!
Great review and great deal, had a set of DeZwaan's and couldn't throw them. They were just too sticky to the fingers, not sure if they would be different to the RVB or KOTO grip. Cheers.
They really do. It's hard to explain but every time I open up a set of KOTO darts and look at them, they just seem nicer than other darts. It's not like they will throw better or anything like that but the finish quality is spot on with them.
Hey WWD! I appreciate all your reviews! I just got back into darts after a long hiatus (10+ years) and now i'm throwing my 25+ year old 22g harrows torpedo darts (Harrows also don't make them in a 22g any more but the barrels are exactly like the 23g). I've been eyeing up some new darts and I really like these and the KOTO zoom blacks. Only problem is they don't come in a 22gram. Being someone who throws a lot of darts, (I realize its an individual preference!) do you think going up or down in weight is more beneficial?
Hmm, tough call to be honest. It really shouldn't make that big of a difference going in either direction a gram. But then again I do it all the time with darts I review so I'm used to it. You could always get the 21g version and use some Pinewood Derby tungsten putty in the stem hole and bump the weight up a bit. Of course that depends on how deep the stem hole is. DO NOT use tungsten putty for fishing. It's really sticky and not fun to work with. Use the stuff for Pinewood derby cars if you go that route
I see your inzer shirt so I assume you are into power lifting - how have you been able to balance lifting and darts? I love lifting and I love darts but I get nervous that heavy lifting will screw up my darts. Appreciate the insights!
I haven't completed in a while but still go heavy from time to time. I think it's one of the things that your body gets used to over time. As you probably already know, avoid triceps if you have an important darts match anytime soon.

@@WorldwideDarts I live in Belgium so they arrived today already! True, the quality for 35 euros is impressive.. They seem VERY grippy to me, I'd say 4 out of 5 on your scale. I'm a mid to rear gripper and they stand up in the board nicely for me with short Bull's pro grip shafts and Retina Velos flights.
@@hennies999 Wow that was QUICK!! During the throwing part of the review I was wishing I went with a little shorter of a stem. The set up I used wasn't working great for me. If I threw with my normal hard throw I was pegging the T5 all the time. That or the single 5. Mostly the single 5 I suppose 😂😂

These definitely feel grippy but they're not as grippy as the Bull's micro ring grip darts. Those things are sharp. These... not so much
