In iZombie the main character has every episode a different personality depending on the brain she eats (brain of an artist, a killer ...) :D Similar and totally worth watching!
Watch Person of interest if you haven't. It tells its stories so well that a secondary character can become memorable. It even manages to have plenty of comedy and at the same time its main focus to be about ...deep questions would be a way to put it... Watch a few chapters at the very least, I really doubt you will regret it
