Bankside Gallery Exhibition 2023: Interview with Prize-winner Kylie Sandford

Evie Hatch interviewed 2023’s Dry Media Award Winner, Kylie Sandford, who travelled from Canada to join us for the exhibition. The interview takes place at Bankside Gallery in central London, at Jackson’s Painting Prize’s inaugural exhibition of shortlisted works which took place between the 25th - 30th July.
Kylie discusses the properties of soft pastels, her interest in natural forms, artistic influences, and the Jackson’s Art Prize exhibition.

I'm inspired. I haven't picked up pastels in a long time, but I remember just what she says about opening a box. The colours and tones. Thanks for this interview and for featuring the artist.
