Hello, I currently have a Grazioli FE10V and I'm thinking about the second one, something like the Solarcon Imax 2000 Optimizer (730cm) or the second Grazioli G-Max. The question is how does Grazioli G-Max perform in the wind and how much wind can it withstand? Do I need to add guy wires in the middle or at the end of the G-max antenna because I saw in the video that there is a dedicated bracket for this? Can you compare Solarcon vs Grazioli? Currently I have FE10V on an 8 m mast and I want a second antenna, but for a 12 m mast. Best regards, 73
@@piotrpuk4176 good morning, I have had static problems with the iMax in the past, which led me to burn the front end of an ft 2000, so it is not my absolute intention to test the Imax 2000 further (I do not want to open a debate on solarcom but only give my experience, others complain about this and there are those who claim to have never had any problems but the problem itself is that when it happens the radios are damaged.) as regards the installation of the G Max (which I recommend for performances higher than any 5/8, see the other video channel) it is to follow the assembly manual that you can download from the Grazioli 73 website
