Love your energy! Working in my dad's Machine shop since I was 11 and now 53 and bought the shop from my dad 12 years ago!
Make a youtube video and teach people. It will add to human value.
Thank you for your feedback very important to see that you care about the comments!
"Bought your DAD'S shop?" Whaaaatttt...!!!
We get our parent's business as a heritage/bequest in India.
The very last comment “your the man!” From a veteran of the industry from 1971. That is respect and acknowledgment of the drive and passion Titan has. No better compliment I’d say. Amacf
Anyone else who just can’t wait to see the stuff behind the camera that we can’t see yet? Considering what’s already been delivered it must be something awesome.
This guy made my life much better i work in a cnc shop in south africa and dont have all the machines he has but inspires me to become much better and someday i wana work in that kinda shops really awesome.
What the name of the machine shop,i want to machine some parts.plz send me the contacts .
I also want to work in machining my company closed our machining department so I'd also like to know the name if you don't mind
That's right MAN. Manufacturing is the KEY!
Titan, I love the enthusiasm and passion you bring to this trade. The future of this world is going to be built on technology and knowledge and you are making it available to everyone. Thank you!
We got a challenge in the shop recently and we have to run a material I had never heard of called Alloy 48 which turns out to be a seriously bad azz metal. There's lathe work and mill working separate ops, we have to hit a surface finish of 16 and many of the features are toleranced to +/- .0002". Might be something for you to do a future video on.
Wishing you the best.
Alloy 48 is a 48% nickle alloy, with the rest being Iron. It's not terribly hard, but it's gummy, work hardens quickly and is a bitch for chip breaking in turning applications. It falls into Group B in the nickel based alloy category.
Love what you’re doing boss, giving back to the community is rare! Good luck with your work man.
Coffee, Titan, Larry, Nicole, CNC machines. My morning is starting off right!
Doosan is a fantastic machine! Extreme precision yes with simplistic Fanuc controls. Good to see you with several of them.
Your videos arrived here in Brazil, congratulations for the work
Awesome Machines. Strong !
awesome Titan! One day ill come down there and shake ur hand! Such an honor
Well done Titan, love that you’re giving our younger generation an amazing head start by providing technology most machine shops dream about, learning on state of the art gear will produce an even better machinist, manufacturing in Australia is almost gone but hope that it will return one day again, I have no doubt DJT and his passion for manufacturing has been the reason for this great resurgence. BOOM
Titan, you are the man.
I love how you are as glad with the "small" Tormach as with the huge Doosan machines.
love to see all these cool cnc stuff
Big bucks in that shop, pretty classy.
Lately watching Titans videos makes me wanna buy another machine.Got to slow down I'm still paying off the last one I purchased.
Sir I love your energy. Your strength. You are very good.
That's a lot of new equipment
Great video. Thanks for sharing. The take away for me is "Compete"
I recognize a few of those techs, you're in great hands. Ellison and edge are two of the best service companies I've had the pleasure of working with over the last 15 years
Am 25 years old I love my job I been working in this industry for 4 years and I love it I love seeing parts come to life we work on parts that go for the military planes and is amazingly and new jobs coming in left and right am excited to keep learning and keep growing .... is true what you say you can make money... I make more money then my friends that been in school for 5 years I learn everything I know today from my just going to work is like school but you get payed to learn
I've been supported by and been supporting Ellison for 30+ years! Im still a Mori fan, But Doosan is stepping up. FYI I need multi axis Lathe operators!!
Where are you located? I know a guy that has multi axis lathe experience who is looking to change shops.
I love it! Very excited for all of it!
Good stuff man. I woulda been programming a DMU 50 had i not taken the job where i am now. It really does give a person a lot of drive when they actually get to learn the newer machines and techniques. That is a BEAST of a shop Titan! Boom!
Guys, I'm going to manufacture some part one day .I'll surely come and meet u when I drop by AMERICA.Titan ur passion maaaaaannn ,I love it
Wish you guys were around 40 years ago, this stuff is awesome..
Awesome! Love your passion and happiness.
It is sad I live in Germany. I would definitely come to your academy. CNC, etc are so awesome, loved them all my life.
Greetings from Munich, Tom.
You're lucky :)
His academy is completely online
Academy.titansofcnc.com and Aerospaceacademy.com
Really I like your job demonstration.
AWESOME VIDEO SIR 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
Thanks for this video!👍🇩🇪
BEAST !!!
Haha titan seems very excited about everything
I'm from Brazil and I work with the fanuc command
Good academy and good work ! Boom !!! From France.
Awesome Machines... Lovely...
you could see what's standing behind the camera. ;) and those machines are crazy!
That mirror image in puma window :)
Amazing
Man i like your way to explain and enthusiasm foe teaching this manufacturing and machining things with the world's best resources of manufacturing. You are doing a great job man. Love from INDIA..1!!
Thanks titan
Great video!
Не понимаю, о чём там. Но мне нравится смотреть Титаныча!
I remember when i was at school , a Omron (industrial PLC) guys was doing some selling / and basic training on there hardware.
The things i would give just to visit your shop.. not to say what i would do to work there 😍 arm and a leg.. pick one
Nice job
It is like Christmas, when you get a new machine :D
In a word, "inspirational"...!!!! Well done. What is Titans stand on the emerging 3D printing industry? I've heard it referred to as the fourth industrial revolution.
I have a 3D printer at work and at home for my kids... definitely will be going deeper
COMPETE! Preach it brother!
Looks like you could do with a matsuura mx850 with pc4 pallet manager for some lights out machining.
God bless you
Doosan good like 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Boom awesome, oi oi oi
Hi, this is beautiful
Sir very very very very very good new all machine's lathe mill drilling
Titan are you able to do a video on what machines you started with are you still using them and where are they now your videos are inspiring I have no experience in machining I'm going to go a sign up to a course and give it a go thanks from Australia
“If you have to compete as a country, we need to work on the best machines.”
*proceeds to work on Tormach and Doosan equipment* 🤣
@@TheFeralEngineer Tata who decided to sponsor him. He'd look pretty stupid with an empty shop because he didn't want Doosan's machine. Imagine him saying, "We got ONE Mori. Hopefully by this time in 2022 well be able to get a second one. I didn't want to accept the 15 machines that Doosan and Tormach wanted to give me, because they're not as good." See how stupid that sounds? Also, it's not 2010 anymore, and even machines like Haas and Doosan can outperform most operators who don't have the skill to run them. CNC machining isn't just pressing a button, and most machinists don't have the skill to use high-end machines to their full potential anyways. Look at John Grimsmo. He can't get that Kern, that costs the better part of $1M, to make decent parts, and he's been running high-end machines (DMG Mori Seiki and Nakamura Tome) for a half-dozen years. He's still learning. The gap between high-end machines (DMG, Mazak, Okuma, Nakamura, Brother, Datron) and cheaper machines (like Haas and Doosan, not including Chinese machines) are getting to be less and less. It's not like it was 5, 10, 20 years ago where those high-end machines were leaps and bounds above cheaper machines. High-end machines have plateaued to almost a pinnacle, and cheaper machines have continued to get better. It's like Snap On vs Craftsman hand tools. You can't make a ratchet wrench get much better than a Snap On, so it has plateaued and can not get any better but a Craftsman ratchet wrench has continued to get better, while being 80-90% less money. Most mechanics/technicians will never use the $25 Craftsman ratchet wrench to the point of failure, so why buy a $125 Snap On one? The Craftsman version is 95% as good as the Snap On, while costing 80% less and having a lifetime warranty. You'd be a fool to buy the Snap On. (And "I buy Snap On because of the convenience of the truck coming to the shop, so I don't have to go to the store," is a stupid justification. As most tool purchases can be done online.) If the Craftsman ratchet breaks or wears out, you get a new one free. The Snap On breaks or wears out and you have to buy a rebuild kit that costs as much as the entire craftsman ratchet. LOL. Usually, the people that think that the high-end machines are WAY better than the cheaper machines, are people who run manual machines in a tiny shop, or they run ONE CNC machine and act like they know about differences between high-end and cheaper machines. None of this would be possible if it weren't for Doosan and Tormach. So you've got 2 options. 1) Buy one or two high-end machines, not have money left over for other things, and most importantly, not be able to run the academy. 2) Take the best of what you can get so you can accomplish your goal, and be able to teach, reach kids in schools, and provide educational content through the academy.
@@xenonram good god, you expect me to read all of that? I'm good 👌
@@xenonram that is a long one but I read it tho
Huh, a guy with a psychotic mass murdering Socialist next to his screen name posting on a self made business mans channel.... You do realize the only system that could have produced Titan is Capitalism right? You recognize he would have been crushed under a boot heel like everyone else in a Socialist society?
Can you please make some videos on CMMs? What’s your favorite?
"If you don't have cnc machines, you're butt naked in a field" lol
Congratulations on the new Tech Titan. Love what you’re doing to your shop. I agree, let’s bring it all back and put food on our own tables. As you know I’m from downunder, and we’ve had a huge reality check over here due to the current virus problem. I’ve always said, “a country that doesn’t manufacture is a country that’s going down the drain”! Cheers mate. Aaron 🍻
It looks like you sold off some or your Hass machines and maybe the Mori's in order to make room. Is that the case? If so can you make a video detailing your thought process about when to buy and sell machines, thanks. Maybe they are just in another bay. But, I'd also be very excited if you put a video out doing a full walkaround of the shop, it's been a while since we saw what the full inventory of machines was.
99% sure he hasn't purchased a machine in years
This is a completely different shop. The aerospace machine shop and the academy shop are different shops. His aerospace ship is far bigger. I believe I read that it has a couple hundred separate machines.
@@xenonram I don't think so. He just got rid of his haas machines. He even sold some of them in his Facebook group.
More Nicole please!
I'm curious. Did you get a bigger pump for the flood coolant in upper? We have had our SMX3100ST for a year now, and the only two things I can complain about is the weak coolant pump, and the fact that the A-axis can't move all that close to the main spindle.
Other than that, it's truly an amazing machine. Looking forward to seeing you guys put it through it's paces!
Luiz Cláudio. Brasil. Very good job bud
Hi Titan, It looks great, I read your comment on Instagram about switching from Haas to Doosan, but if it's possible to tell, why did you choose Doosan, not Okuma, Mazak, Mori, and other brands? I know that Mori is expensive, and Doosan is almost Haas price but rigidity is way better. If possible can you please make video explaining why Doosan, what other brands were you looking too. Thanks. Andrei
Я почти на таком же fanuc работаю только на 14 инструментов в магазине
Can you do a video on cast iron machining ?!!
Hi Titan Can you see those two guys hold the laptop like that? I think it's not a good method unsafe and not comfortable. Can you build a grip holder the same as a grip holder for a glass?
Are you working on cryogenic machining and MQL. How about the scope of it in USA markets ??
What about a Hermle, Titan?
The guys and Hass machines of your old videos are gone?
I'm just wondering why the last machine moves its axes while the doors are open. Our pumas do absolutely nothing while the door are open
what happened to made in USA and all that, DOOSAN is formerly DAEWOO (South Korea) Makino is Japan, i remember few years ago Titan going around in T-shirt "Titan American Built" in Haas factory Made in USA and also i remember Titan walking around in his workshop full with Haas machines...i just wonder what is it, does Haas machines don't cut it anymore?
I think if they give you a machine you are not going to say no. Haas is a good machine for what you pay but there are more rigid products out there but of course they cost quite a bit more. Bridgeports , Mori's , Okuma's they all cost serious cash.
It's not a mess. If it's an organized mess. LOL
Hey titan whare is the old machines?
Where could I apprentice at CNC in the Bay Area. I have a good knowledge of CAD design and 3d printing looking to get into real manufacturing.
어~~~~ 타이탄 형~~한국어 자막좀....
Hey~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Brother, Korean subtitles, please.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
How much did the machine expansion cost(for all of the new machines)?
There's still customers for your business?
Will you teach heidenhain?
that would be interesting. All the high end machines come with Heidenhain . I heard they are the most capable but never worked with one.
@@claudiugalea3038 we use heidenhain at work and only have one fanac machine. I never used fanac but I've seen videos and seen it at work at it looks a lot for complex. There is no g code for heidenhain, so you dont have to remember what g code is for what
I want job on your company ❤️
Hieee..dear... I'm big fan of you... I want to work with you... How can i join with u
This is more of an unboxing channel.. every episode a new machine😂
Hi Nicole please wear a mask. There is a lot things to cut.
This will explain (from a political standpoint) why they didn't mask: ua-cam.com/video/HNMORMyS1Fc/v-deo.html
Hello sir,
Please help me to solve ovality probelm after partingoff in cnc lathe
Finish component Specification od:189.80 to 189.90mm

Material fe510 mild steel
Ovality occurs. Od:189.70 - 189.95mm
Id: 175.0 - 175.30mm
Thickness 8.55mm
ok so you mean roundness. My days in aerospace machining, making titanium parts for military would part off out of round and varying degrees. it would be a lot less of a problem the shorter the bar was behind the chuck... to fix it, we would use granite surface plate and use indicator to find the high point and hit it with a mallet until it was in tolerance.
What happened to the partnership with haas
IF.....you get the wok
there is a dvf behind the camera
Dear sir:I just wonder why CNC controllers your plants are deploying do not subsidize some from Cincinnati milacron CNC controllers?
didn't get the question
These days it seems Cincinnati is mostly making custom machines, not regular "off the shelf " product.
@@3markaw do you mean other CNC controller makers will tailor make to order with the customers's special feather designed more specific specifications?
Ok 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
But Mechanical Engineers play around on computer screens, with some of us starting off on a drafting board...we both make things, its just a different part of the process... IJS
Titanium in rockets. I don't think so.
Rply for my query.....
