Lovely Video clip! Sorry for butting in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you considered - Mackorny Increase Testosterone Blueprint (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is a good one off guide for building twice as much muscle fast minus the hard work. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my friend at very last got great success with it.
I have feared needles my whole life, but since I'm trans I have gotten used to them, I've been on depo for over a year. Today, I got my first testosterone shot, I was afraid it'd hurt really badly, but it didn't. I cannot give myself the needle, I would literally be shaking, but my dad is giving me the shots, so I'll be good.
Haha same. I get depot every 3 months only (once a month in the beginning) . I hated needles before. I actually don't get the tiny cute needles, I get the big chunky needles. It's like very oily, so when I had to go to a doctor in other cities I had situations where they literally could barely get through the thickest needles they had, and I always bring my own needles because of that. I can't inject it myself as well. Basically it is not ok to put that in the thigh, it has to go in the butt. My dad is a dentist so he did it once during the holidays but other then that I go to a doctor. It's 10 minutes every 3 months. That is fine. It's awesome. In the beginning I had monthly doses for 6 months and then I changed - it is 10 times as expensive now, like 200 Euros per dose, before it was like 7 Euros per month. But that is all getting paid for either way.
Im poor ANDscared of needles so there's no option for me... this sounds pretty negative, but it feels like that for me too: suffering to stop suffering

No, oral testosterone is no longer available in the US. However, sublingual and buccal tablets are available that are absorbed in the mouth and thus present no strain on the liver.
this is so helpful! have a really bad needle phobia, and it's such a relief to hear there are other options which work just as well; going to be looking up those patches.omg I'm so relieved :D
I already have to give myself weekly injections for a chronic illness (yes, I don't like needles but I don't really have a choice). That's why I'm looking for different options- long term frequent injecting in the same general area (for me, my thighs) can cause the skin to get tougher, and I don't want to expedite the process by adding another needle to the mix.
same kinda, whatever gets injected unde rmy skin hurts awfully bad, while for others it often doesnt, and also int he lows of t u can get so depressive, so i was hoping i could get the gel as its more constant and painless, also since insurance pays it its not a choice of price, but idk if they let me choose which i take. patches i heard that they often result in too low t levels
I’ve been in the midst of some gender dysphoria for a while, and I couldn’t tell where I was on the spectrum of identity. The idea of transitioning has always been a little scary in my head. I thought there was only injections and gel, it was comforting to learn about other options. Thank you so much!
I started T 3 weeks after this video was uploaded. I'm on Androgel, a gel type of testosterone, and it works just as well as injections. Also in my case the locally available version of injection was pretty dangerous for me since I'm underweight. In my country gel is the most commonly used and most affordable type of testosterone
@Arwin Raj I have blood tests every third month, I'm completely healthy, the gel form of T is very different from those tablets you think of. T comes in different forms for trans and cis men. Androgel is as safe as for example Nebido. Plus my endocrinologist (and top surgeon, who is also an endo/urologist) didn't recommend injections for me, because I'm underweight.
I am so glad that you don't need needles, I have such bad needle anxiety, that I go into panic mode! I got to wait, like a month or so, then the 1,5 year of waiting for the whole process to start is finally over and I hope I can start as soon as possible with the patches or the gel! I can wait a year or two for actual results!
Thank you so much for showing us what the needle looks like! I have not seen other people show off what the needle actually looks like and now i feel much better about going into this with a fear of needles. Personally, I think my fear comes from having to trust others injecting me but i think i can totally trust myself with that little guy!
So glad that there are other options. I have a very bad fear of needles, like to the point were I've had to be held down by multiple doctors (when I was a kid), almost fainted, and generally get sent into really bad panic attacks. Even when you showed that tiny needle on screen I flinched.
ok, i have a severe fear of needles, but i had no idea the subcutaneous shots were THAT tiny. i guess ive only ever seen trans men use intramuscular needles bc i was terrified at the thought of having to jab such a large needle into my side every week. ive been set on using gel for YEARS, but between the pros, cons and price differences, i think ive decided im gonna go w shots instead. this vid was super helpful, thank you. :)

And prior to my becoming diabetic six years ago, I was the most needle-phobic dude in the world. So, don't let needles be a game changer for you in any way! Be a man or woman or human or cute puppy about it, right? Be blessed, dude!
im in australia and i previously took oral pills and i DO NOT recommend them. The only reason i had to take them is bc the only other option for me currently was a needle that used peanut oil in the injection and im severely allergic. They have another needle called reandron which i switched over to just recently because it is a full adult dosage and im only 16 my body couldnt handle such high T amounts initially. I would have to take 4 oral pills a day to finally see some effect (which albeit were still minor) Luckily i'm stealth so it wasn't that big of an issue but it still sucked balls. Especially when the Doctors reassured you that the pills are just as effective :/
Would the gel and patches be affected by something like acne scars on the body? Like, would someone not be able to use the gel and patches because of the scars?
Why you should get injections: 1. The transition is faster 2. You will get used to it - and while you are still struggling you can lay down during the injection 3. It's like really cheap for monthly doses if that is an issue for you I get injections every three months, by a doctor because they have to go through really thick needles (because it is oily, and really difficult to get through normal needles) - I have been to doctors in other cities that don't even have the thickness required so like seriously, thick needles. I bring my own needles when I know that I am not with my usual doctor. And while that sounds really bad, it hurts a lot less then having blood drawn in my opinion - and that will happen anyway, no matter what you decide for. Basically the reason I can't do it myself is because it is to thick needles and too much fluid for my legs(meaning it has to go in the butt) , and it has to be slowly injected (at least 20 seconds, I got no feeling of time) , which is really difficult on yourself, in your butt. But it's like a minute of pain every 3 months and outside of that I just kinda forget about being trans at all. It's really chill. About the price: I have doses of 200 Euros per, so 800 Euros a year, which would be expensive to pay myself. But monthly doses for me only cost 7 Euros per, so 84 Euros per year, which really would be ok to pay - I don't know about the scummy American markets tho lol. Maybe you would get scammed. I started out with half a year of monthly doses, before going to the long ones. Like it is so nice. Nobody around me except my close family knows that I am trans and sometimes I feel like I forget it myself. And not having to think about hormones is a big part of that. Sometimes I even think about it as 'I was trans' because I am so over all of that, it's awesome. Funny story. I knew that I was gonna need the injection while my doctor had holiday so I already had been given needles, since I knew that thick needles aren't necessarily everywhere. So that day, I went to another doctor in the town and told them (to the nurse): Me: Hey I need this injected, here is the letter that I actually need it, and here is some thick needles that are needed for giving it. Nurse: Ok, ill have the papers, don't worry we don't need the needles, we have our own. Me: Ok then. *Doctor walks in, smalltalk, checking papers, then she opens the box of the testosterone * Me: Hey, it needs very thick needles to go through, I brought some (offers the needles in the original packaging of course) Doctor: No worries, we got our own *They grab the needle and pull the medication into the syringe. It goes in but very, veeeery slowly. At least like 3 minutes kind of slow. Pretty akward.* Doctor (after it is finally finished, they need to switch the needle anyway out of hygiene): Can I have one of the needles you brought with you please? I just thought that it was very funny how they first kinda dismissed me as a patient who thinks that doctors don't have their own needles until they realized that, in fact, I was right all along Buhahaha. Since then I finally entrusted my dad who is dentist and clearly hasn't done this in like ever, to give the injection. He's really not too good about it, really slow but still safe, but it's better then going to new doctors each time. I actually stayed with the doctor that didn't believe me about the needles at first. She has waaay better waittimes then the other one I was going to before.

I've been questioning about testosterone and how to do it or take it. Thank you so much this helped me so much Sending this to my parents to inform then too 😬
i had that implant with other hormons, meant to last for 3 years, but i felt so extremely horrible from the hormons ,that i cut it out of my own arm after a short time. didnt wanna pay for taking it out, while doctors end up making bigger cuts than i did. the downside is full pain
So I take the Gel daily. With the Gel, the generic brand is WAAAAY cheaper, especially with the GoodRX coupon. With the coupon, it's like $120 for 2 bottles, as appose to like $400 for the Androgel. Also, the absorption rate differs from person to person. So if each pump delivers 12.5 miligrams of T, you're likely only getting about 1.5 milligrams or so (I heard it's about 10%). I've been on it for about 30 days now, and there's definitely a positive difference. However, I'm still experiencing a little of the sluggishness that I had a problem with prior to the T. Maybe I need to up my dose, I don't know.
I’m on t I used to do a shot once a week but switched to the patch after 8 months. I don’t think the pill is available in the us either something about the safety of it I think is the main reason why
Sam, have you ever had any hesitation towards? getting the T? Or was it a thing that you definitely want to do? How old were you when you decided to go on T? I would be really grateful if you answered!
i give myself intramuscular T shots every saturday. i just use a tough man hold around the area where im gonna put the needle in, and it doesn’t hurt. because my nerves are focused on the bear-man grip.
i'm really scared of needles but i'd like results faster, and it seems pretty easy plus its cheaper and my mom won't pay for it i don't think because she's kinda against it so i don't have that much money so it would be best to just talk to my doctor and my doctor supports me so it should be fine if i just pay for it and do it myself
i'm currently on lupron, (puberty blockers) i'm 13 and will be starting hrt in the next few years. i'm terrified of needles to the point of panic attacks and a health detriment. i'm looking into other ways to receive hrt without them, i'm scared of pretty much anything medical wise. i'll have to talk to my medical providers but i'm thinking about going through the patch route! if anyone has any tips feel free to give them.
I started taking the androgel because I didn't want to take syringes on the trainers truck. But now I'm getting called she and I look like I'm de transitioning. Frankly its pissing me off. The pic i have now isn't what I look like any more I am more feminen looking. I'm worried because my voice isnt dropping anymore. I talked to my Dr but haven't heard back if my T was super low. I do plan on going back on the syringes but will have to wait til I get my own truck. I look feminen and have been told I'm going into the wrong bathroom!
i came out as ftm trans at 11. and started pretending to be female at 13-14 but i really really dont fit in as a female. i know im male (im 16 now) i think i need to come out again but... i am scared. Sam do you have tips? im hating my body even more than i did at 11-12 since ive not had any estro blockers. and since im almost 17 my voice is always mentioned by people when i say “im a boy” .. is there anyway i can buy Testosterone in the uk without seeing a doctor etc.?
I'm watching this in 2020 and I might start transitioning but what happens if I take T and use pellets? also, how do I get T without my parent's knowledge?
So I’m really late to this video but I have a question if anyone sees this! So my parents can be very transphobic and I’ve researched things about testosterone in the past so they blocked me from using research websites sadly. I have a question though, so with testosterone do you haft to take this the rest of your life? I’m sorry if it’s a dumb question I’m just genuinely curious
@@angelmunoz723 pills you have to take everyday (1-2 depending on your dosage and what your doctor tells you) and it does deepen your voice it just takes time for you to see results
Angel Muñoz I would say tell them that you are positive that you want to take patches and if they still say cream yes I would suggest finding a new doctor
there are PATCHES??? holy fuck i'm saved. just looking at needles makes me dizzy. i can't stand veins and arteries, they make me wanna puke everywhere.
i believe so but that would mean having an appointment everytime you need to take it (1-4 times a month) which is a lot and can be a lot to spend going to a doctor
Under 18 you need parental consent and over 18 you’re all good to do it on your own after being approved of course:) hormone blockers are a great thing to look into too, if you’re under 18
Yes you would have to either have your therapist consult with a doctor or do it your self and sign a form agreeing to all the things that can happen while on testosterone. (short answer yes these are all prescription)

i had that implant with other hormons, meant to last for 3 years, but i felt so extremely horrible from the hormons ,that i cut it out of my own arm after a short time. didnt wanna pay for taking it out, while doctors end up making bigger cuts than i did. the downside is full pain
This isn't related to the video, but I farted on beat to your intro.
Also, thank you for the info, in about to go on T, so this really helps!
HAJSHSHS
LMAOOO that is maybe the best comment I have ever received, I am honored that happened to my intro song 😂👏🏼
Oh no, you weren't supposed to actually see this.
JSBSHSJSUEHEUEEU😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I don’t have a problem with needles and I’m here over two years in a delay but the thumbnail just obliterated me and I had to stop by 😂
So I take the Gel daily.
Thank you so much I’m so hype I’m terrified of shots I’m so happy I can do it with no shots
I’m on t I used to do a shot once a week but switched to the patch after 8 months. I don’t think the pill is available in the us either something about the safety of it I think is the main reason why
You can also do nostrils spray too.
Am i suppose to consult doctor bfore taking T.. Coz idk this country allowed. I dint go see any yet but i want to do it..Im 35 btw.
its more safe consulting doctor
Sam, have you ever had any hesitation towards? getting the T? Or was it a thing that you definitely want to do? How old were you when you decided to go on T? I would be really grateful if you answered!
Dang pills is the only one that doesn’t freak me out I wish they had an effective and not unsafe version 😢
I was thinking about taking pills... Darn it.
You look so happy!
i give myself intramuscular T shots every saturday. i just use a tough man hold around the area where im gonna put the needle in, and it doesn’t hurt. because my nerves are focused on the bear-man grip.
Pellets be sounding rly good….bouta run ma bank for that….
So helpful. Absolutely amazing thank you so much!!
Thank you! Not a needle fan and I’m kinda poor but I’m still going to look Into the gel option. If it’s really expensive then needles it is :,)
yep, small needle it is.
Also pellets sound gross ngl
Oh dang.. i was thinking about taking pills- I'm glad i saw this--
When you have to wait until you’re twenty years old to do this because where you are it’s illegal to do it until you’re above 19
i'm really scared of needles but i'd like results faster, and it seems pretty easy plus its cheaper and my mom won't pay for it i don't think because she's kinda against it so i don't have that much money so it would be best to just talk to my doctor and my doctor supports me so it should be fine if i just pay for it and do it myself
Thanks for this because I needed to find other ways since I'm allergic to needles
i'm currently on lupron, (puberty blockers) i'm 13 and will be starting hrt in the next few years. i'm terrified of needles to the point of panic attacks and a health detriment. i'm looking into other ways to receive hrt without them, i'm scared of pretty much anything medical wise. i'll have to talk to my medical providers but i'm thinking about going through the patch route! if anyone has any tips feel free to give them.
Question: before you start T, do you have to take hormone blockers? And if so- how long before you start T
Great sam , love your Chanel . Louise xxx
lmao imagine you accidentally transition your girlfriend because you rub your gel from your skin to hers all the time 😭
if you start take T with the patches for exmple can you change the way you take T by taking the injection?
Yup, you can change the method in which you are getting T at essentially anytime
I would love to know if there is an option where only your voice depends
i came out as ftm trans at 11. and started pretending to be female at 13-14 but i really really dont fit in as a female. i know im male (im 16 now) i think i need to come out again but... i am scared.
THANK YOU
I need a whole step when it comes to transitioning can u guys help with that?
Thank you so much for this!
I traded my menstrual cycle in for a Honda.
Do testosterone pills work? I can’t let anyone know I’m taking t
What do I do if I don’t wanna ask my parents for testosterone? Like is there any other way to get it-
Idk but whatever you do DO NOT buy it online even if it’s a trusted site it’s a bad idea
@@GUROBOY.. thanks for the tip was gonna do that lmao
Btw, new subscriber here.
How often you have to take the patch? Would it deepen your voice?
The Stud I have the same question. Or even the pills
taking the patch is every day and it does deepen your voice it just takes longer than injections do
@@angelmunoz723 pills you have to take everyday (1-2 depending on your dosage and what your doctor tells you) and it does deepen your voice it just takes time for you to see results
Erin Bacon I asked about the patches and my doctor replied that I should take cream¿ should I find someone else¿
Angel Muñoz I would say tell them that you are positive that you want to take patches and if they still say cream yes I would suggest finding a new doctor
I have a question do I have to throw away the rest of the T in the bottle or can I save it?
For me needles are the most terrifying thing than death for me. 😃
Im all for lgbt and im straight but my dr will proscribe trans persons test and they wont prescribe it to me because i body build
Are the patches available in Cali¿ I need to stop the shots my anxiety is getting high ☠️
yes i believe so just make sure you talk to your doctor about changing from shots to patches before doing so incase you need to change your dosage
Does testorstrone boosters for exercising (body strengthening or building stuff) works?
there are PATCHES??? holy fuck i'm saved. just looking at needles makes me dizzy. i can't stand veins and arteries, they make me wanna puke everywhere.
I'm trying to get testosterone, but couldn't you go to a doctor for the injections if you really don't want to do it yourself?
i believe so but that would mean having an appointment everytime you need to take it (1-4 times a month) which is a lot and can be a lot to spend going to a doctor
Erin Bacon That’s a fair point, im scared of needles but it’s the cheapest option
How old would someone have to be to start taking testosterone?
Under 18 you need parental consent and over 18 you’re all good to do it on your own after being approved of course:) hormone blockers are a great thing to look into too, if you’re under 18
@@SamSwitz thank you so much😁

Your so handsome
Are all of these prescription?
Yes you would have to either have your therapist consult with a doctor or do it your self and sign a form agreeing to all the things that can happen while on testosterone. (short answer yes these are all prescription)
You will never pass, your bone structure will never change nor your gait, you can try helplessly though
