_An actual conversation I had with a removalist:_
Removalist: Yeah we charge by the hour, travel included mate.
Me: It's a three hour round trip. How many trips will it take?
R: One, for sure.
_On the day of the move..._
R: OK we'll drop this off and be back for the second trip.
Me: I thought you said one trip?
R: Yeah but that was if we brought our larger truck.
Me: So why didn't you bring the larger truck?
R: Because this job's not big enough to need the larger truck, mate. Sheesh...
I would have said "charge me for the one trip or charge me for no trips you guaranted one trip"

i once had a lengthy argument with a scumbag because his "deal" of weed didn't look like a full gram, he finally admitted it was 0.8 grams, and he wondered why i left without buying it.
i never bought under a quarter afterwards and ONLY from people i knew were not going to rip me off by keeping 20% for themselves, stopped smoke weed in 2003 and don't miss the scene at all.
@@amandagardner565 i have never seen a gram of weed before (or weed in general), but how do you know the difference between 0.8 grams and 1 gram since theres only a 0.2 gram difference
@@yaochuangoh1242 i spent a LOT of time around friends who were dealers, and while one gram vs 0.8 gram doesn't sound like much it's actually a drop of 20%. a full gram should look about the size of a woman's thumb, and around that time most small dealers were buying a quarter (7 grams) smoking one and selling the other 6 as single to cover the cost, scumbags taxed the 6 to get another 1.2 grams to smoke. believe me, you can tell the difference, most people who never saw a quality scale would have no idea.
if they had been upfront and said they were selling "deals" i wouldn't have a problem, but this particular guy told me it was a gram and argued the point before admitting it WAS NOT one gram.

Royal Sydney Removals (I don't respect them to hide the name) had the guys show up at the wrong place, late, and upon moving a washing machine hit the drainage hose so it gushed water everywhere, on the second step of an apartment building which I was told was 'the boys draining the machine', this video is brilliant

I actually thought this was a story on acurrent affair
I recently moved and they damaged our new fridge, Broke the door off our spare fridge, Damaged 3 cube shelves, cracked the screen on our 85" tv, damaged the door on our washing machine and tried getting us to pay in cash once the move was done.
We're still waiting for them to get back to us about paying for all the damage. Around $6000 worth all up.
Another week avoiding us and we're sticking the lawyer onto them. Lucky for us my brother is a lawyer so I can hopefully get the max small claims amount of 5k in court.
I fucking hate removalists... 9/10 are useless con men
