Korone's love for Wingull is honestly my favorite thing about her playthrough. She plays these games so much differently than anyone else... It doesn't matter if it would get stronger when it evolves, she loves Wingull so that's what she's gonna use.

@@TheUglyFish When Pokemon home availablity comes you can bring an Ursaring with Bellydrum, Facade and Guts over and evolve it to Ursaluna which has a base Atk of 140, if you can bring Pokemon over who can learn these moves in older Gens.
You gotta give props to the little fella, it may not have the greatest stats compared to fully evolved 'mons, but it still took down it's evolved form just like Pikachu defeating Surge's Raichu. Also, that tiny bird using Hurricane is really hilarious to me lol
Korone needs to slap on a focus sash on her wingull and she'll be fine. Gotta give her props for using her favourite pokemon instead of the default strongest

@@eragon78 Everstone is the one that prevents pokemon from evolving. She did put one on her Wingull before but in battles, she put the Eviolite for the added defenses to unevolved pokemon.

Kudos to Korone for sticking to her guns, even if it's a losing strategy on average. I tend to use pokemon I like instead of core meta ones, but I only keep unevolved ones in my box for taking out on picnics.
Still remember my first playthrough of the original Blue Version on Gameboy. Bulbasaur was my favourite and I refused to let it evolve. Whenever my friends would come around to play Pokemon Stadium everyone used to laugh when my level 100 Bulbasaur would make an appearance.
