GT Line with Meridian audio system has a amplifier that is located under the driver's seat. Therefore, the lower position of the seat is limited. Same situation in Hyundai car with Krell audio system (Tucson, Santa Fe etc.)
I have an AWD EV6 and my efficiency at 4.5mpk is the same as a RWD, meaning, the range is the same. That said, because of the weight and weight distribution, unlike ICE cars, RWD EVs perform fine in snow, especially in Snow mode.
Back in 2021, the RWD at least here in CZ only came in basic design, not GT Line (which I liked a lot) and it was really a bit basic. GT Line came with AWD and indeed there was a very high seating position (I am 1.92m).
I have the RWD Kia EV6 GT line S . Apart from the drive train here in the uk there is no difference between the two cars. The choice is not just simply performance over range it’s the price that is most people’s decision making process.£4,000 difference.
Is there a difference in the turning circle? Edit: the 0.3 meter is not all that much, but it is nearly 1 foot. It is possible on RWD to have the front wheel steering angle be sharper. This is the case with VWs for example. This can be a big improvement if they design it that way.
Interesting, you mentioned you want 4wd with the smart (which looked rubbish) so not surprised if your pick, thought the excuse was snow/ice not just more fun for wanting the 4wd?

Nice update👍. If a frunk matters, it is much bigger in the RWD - and can actually be used for other things than just a cable.

Kia ev 5 FWD vs AWD Which to buy guys.... nice vid. Hindustan south.
We need a test drive of the new 2024 Volvo xc40 extended range RWD
1:05 Chris, it is all about leg to torso height relation, keyword "Sitzriese" 😉
Can't generalize like this.
How does the Real Wheel Drive " handle the snow going up mountains?.....
Only had the 2 cars in the summer. I don't know. sorry
Perfectly fine, there is a test on UA-cam don in Norway up a steep hill in half a foot of snow, and the car handles it great.
What car do you prefer the id 5 or the Kia ev 6 I'm currently considering going electric and would be interested in your thoughts.
you should drive both and decide. I don't know what is important to you. You have to find that out
No comparison. EV6 performs better, charges way way faster and is much nicer inside and out.
The red car looks like it is the faster one 😸
Maybe you should build the perfect car for everyone 😂
no one needs awd
