Nice especially for older people who occasionaly need to cut some 2-5cm branches, but working with big manual saw or heavy chainsaw is too exhausting for them. Or for single-handed sawing somewhere hanging on the ladder.
Good video...👍👍 And the best part is you are very sweet... people are asking same question again and again and you have replied all of them...😊😊😊😊 Lots of Love from India..❤️❤️
The best purpose for this tool would be to make plunge cuts, and even that's a stretch. It's a cool little gizmo but there's just so many tools that do a better job.
Tension for cutting chain, capability to sharpen and replace are unanswered issues. Then there's consideration of availability/cost of replacement bar/chain assembly.
I am thankful for the demo. It is not a tool I would buy or even try to obtain one free of cost, however, I am sure it fits a special niche, and most tool freaks would want one because its a newly designed gadget
That was an unboxing only, with the inappropriate cutting of a 3 x 3 timber which I don’t think it’s designed for. I believe it’s for pruning small trees and shrubs.
Bosch has a lot of tools in Europe that they don't sell in the States but you can buy them on eBay, though at a premium. I couldn't help myself, after watching AvE play with his, I just had to have one. ;-p
That was my exact thought. Some are too narrow minded or maybe simple minded to realize the value of some things. The fact was that it could cut though a 4x4, not that it was the best use for it.
This tool is obviously intended for light, precise work like cutting holes in plasterboard or mdf for electric sockets. It looks better than a jig-saw for that kind of work, but a jig-saw is so much cheaper to buy (even if a hole has to be drilled to start it off). It costs almost £120. 00. The lump of timber was not the best demonstration to select even if it did demonstrate the capacity of the saw, other types of saw do that kind of job much more efficiently.
ZigZagHockey I thought the timber in the demonstration was perfect for showing how good this tool is. also, the only other tool that can cut this quickly is a circular saw which can be cumbersome,I though the whole video was pretty good,Brian ,uk,
Keep an open mind here. How many ppl though they didn't need an impact gun early on, because their drill did the same thing... theirs definitely a market for a stationary blade that cuts well. It just needs be developed and tuned a lil more. I would expect to see these on jobs in the future though.
Maybe the perfect tool for cutting a “Mortise” especially if its a deep cut, say 70 to 90mm. A router is well out of reach and I’m not too skilful with the chisel.
not at all. I found when I was cutting shapes and long cuts in 3mm pvc sheeting, it was so much better that using a jigsaw. I was so glad I had bought it earlier when they first came out for £79. Easy to use for lovely straight lines compared to a jigsaw that has wandering blades.
Will just ad this to the most useless tool list, hahaha. Reciprocating saw will cut way faster and replacement blades are cheap like Borscht. How does one sharpen that mini chain and how much $$ to replace it? lol
Tou precisando de uma dessa , só que com a lâmina mais potente. Gistei muito só achei a lâmina ou serra muito curta , aqui onde moro não tem dessa , quando tiver vou comprar.

yes,good idea ;)
Looks like the best mail opener on the market
Cutting a 4x4 with a 3-inch blade. Priceless.
As a lumberjack and a hitchhiker, I find it much easier to get to work and back home having this than the 36" Husqvarna I normally carry.

I’ve decided that people that like that kind of music ...... buy things like this
Very nice post

I'm not sure if the tool or the music is worse.
Wow, Small but powerful. Great for cutting small branches
for this it is intended
Yeah, matches 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 And toothpicks 🤣🤣🤣
Cocok buat pasang handel kunci, dan buat lubang sambungan kayu, bisa juga buat ukir kayu, buat potong ranting. Mungkin terbatas kayu aja
Se tarda mucho en cortar la madera que tal si tienes prisa.
i think its a pretty kool tool, might give this a try !!! thanks for the VID !!
You're welcome!
seems a reciprocating saw or a circular saw would be more reliable than a mini chain saw.
For cutting down Bonsai Forests in Japan ?
It s good handy small saw even for cutting and pruning small branches of trees etc...
That's a great tool for DYI's and craft projects and hobbies like that👍🏾👍🏾
Possibly a good use for drywall

😂😂😂
What is it's price? Is it easily available in Karachi?
Kkkkkkkkkkkkkk
All that R&D, tech and manufacturing for something not so handy, Well done Bosch.
Problem that got overlooked. It is a chain saw, you need to oil the chain to cut down on friction heat buildup that will destroy the small chain.
you right
Aww you got a baby chainsaw!
I got a reciprocating saw for a 5th of the price, and it works 10 times better.
I am happy for you
Reciprocating saw is great after you learnt in handling it..9"length blade.

Excellent tool for making toothpicks out of matchsticks.
Tony it is also good for cutting toe nail's?
You would have to pay me to buy one of those.
I would pay a monthly $5 to you tube to recommend videos with no back ground music.
as a beginner, i think that will be so useful on my first woodworking project which is a king size bed.
No man trust me a hand saw or pretty much any other saw would work better for you
It is like a sawzall with a wider cut and more expensive replacement blades (chain).
I’m not sure that I understand the advantage here.
Took six minutes to finally see a demo of the thing cutting.
I might just need that this Thanksgiving to carve up the turkey then trim my pubes after that
Pubes might clog and jam that right up
It's cute saw.

no
