The movie tells a story of a fearless detective Ma Seok-do (Ma Dong-seok) who hunts down Jang Chen (Yoon Kye-sang), a cold-blooded boss of Heuksapa, an uprising criminal organization that turned Seoul’s Chinatown into a blood bath. Ma Seok-do is an old school detective with bravado who has been protecting the peace of his city with his strong fists and bold spirit. Together with Jeon Il-man, Seok-do plans an ultimate crime sweep to take down Jang Chen’s gangs in one night.

I feel like he’s the Rock of Korean action movies. He does one thing (punching people) but he does it reallly well.
He’s an ex-boxer and trained a few MMA fighters in striking, the guy REALLY knows how to punch the everloving fuck out of stuff.
Oh, maybe you haven't watched "Murderer" of Ma. If you watch Murderer, you are gonna murder Ma and Director. 😅😅

He is the best. Every single movie of his is a super hit. So much better then watching people flying with their sword and bamboo stick.

I love that this movie didn't bombard you with lots of extended fight scenes... just a little here and there. It made this scene even better than it already is.
And the antagonists were actually scary. When they walked into that restaurants with the cops sitting at the table I was actually scared, for the cops and everyone else in there...
Yesh. K-portrayal of any villanous acts is dam next level. Haha.

Yeah, he's way bigger than the bad guy and all the other characters in the film so most of them only stood a chance with weapons or sneak attacks.
One of my most favourite Kmovie, Kye Sang was so amazing

On every video i see its Gilgamesh mentioned .. don lee was already a star and even better actor before eternals. Constantly mentioning eternal seems like it the only big thing . He was loved by millions from way before. Stop belittling his achievements.

님이 보는 해외 영화들도 다 마찬가지임
님이 번역 보고는 완전히 이해 못해도 배우들의 연기를 보고 대충 이해하듯이, 외국인들도 마동석, 윤계상 연기 보면서 얼핏 어떤 어조로 말하는건지는 다 이해함
번역하는 사람이 그걸 이해하고 자기 나라 문화에 맞게 바꿔서 의역하는게 실력인거고
다른나라 영화도 마찬가지에요. 틀딱들 진지충에 국뽕시발..

i really liked the gang leader fellow that owns the Karaoke joint. Because he is much level headed and smarter than the smaller guys that we saw at the start of the film. And is like what most people would do if they actually thought a little before they start stirring shit up.
