Great review! I've had these gloves in white and gold for almost 1 year. They are extremely durable as the leather has shown very little wear. These are the most protective gloves I own (also have Fly superlace-x, rival rfx guerrero sparring, Sabas bella series). My 2 complaints are that 1, I prefer genuine leather. the microfibre they use is very durable, but makes for a stiffer feel and 2, as was pointed out in the video, the wrist is too large for me (5,9", 160 lbs) and because of that, the hand compartment can twist just a little and it makes the seam where the thumb attaches to the glove uncomfortable.
Thanks for your feedback and experience with these gloves! I wish the wrist was a little more snug like you said. I actually like the rs1 a little more because you can make a tighter fist and the wrist support is better
@@csquaredboxing May I ask how long you got your 3 pairs fly gloves, I know you said in video one pair is 1 week; Mine has been 10 days and they have still not been shipped yet, and I ins, email them ,they just don''t reply
Nice what no way I was debating on getting these or the black and gold ones very nice gloves I’ve been eyeing these for a while I recently got the rb11 and rb10 bag gloves I’m trying to wait I don’t want to rush and blow too much money on gloves too soon but I agree with you rival is very good quality for the price I think I will get the RB80 glove and then get a sparring glove but I really enjoy rival a lot
Hey Carlo, great videos. Just a quick suggestion when it comes to weighing the gloves. I’m not sure how sensitive the scale you use is, but it may serve well to tuck the laces into the glove before weighing them so they don’t make any contact with the table. If it’s a super sensitive scale, it may make the read weight 0.1-0.4 oz lighter than the actual weight. Just a suggestion. Otherwise, thanks for doing all these reviews so I don’t have to buy and try all the gloves myself haha
Hello I had a question. Last time I was scrolling through the comments on one of ur vids and someone said if you can review Haymaker boxing gloves and you said you wouldn’t want to do business with them. What did you mean by that? Are the glove horrible because I’m interested in buying some from that brand and I would like to know if there a good brand to buy from. Thanks!
I had a bad experience with a purchase from them and never received the gear I ordered. Long story short it took forever to receive a refund after a lot of back and forth and broken promises. Apparently there were many other customers with the same problems. Hence why I personally wouldn’t do business with them.
Hey Carlo my wife wants to get me some gloves for Christmas; I have a history of damaging my wrist and last 2 knuckles when hitting the bag. I am a heavy guy but have smallish hands and hit fairly hard. I'm looking for something around $100. Do you have any recommendations for a heavyweight fighter, with smallish hands around that price range? Thanks in advance for your help and Merry Christmas!
I am an amateur with a few fights, do you think that i should spend this money in RS100 or better one option cheaper? I read that this gloves are very durable but i dont want a excesive good gloves for my level, what i should do?
one of the only things holding me back from these gloves is the mesh :/ unsure about the durability of it. I train in muay thai and i wonder what the wear and tear would be core catching kicks on the mesh, especially with the velcro on shin guards. but they look sick, especially the blue and silver colorway
@@maxpage8728 a lot of people wear boxing gloves for Muay Thai/ kick boxing and mma sparring to. They’re just gloves not really a big difference all I know is with boxing it’s a little harder to clinch with and open the hand but I myself don’t really like to clinch anyways but you’ll be good bro.

Hey man I need your advice. I want to gift myself a pair of gloves for bag and pads for christmas. I weigh 255 with small-ish hands and medium wrists. Is there any bag glove that you could wholeheartedly recommend? I've used Thai brands up until now but want to try something new. I live in europe so no small brands please ^^ thanks!
Hey mate. Know im not carlo, but I can allways vouch for Cleto Reyes gloves. With your weight, youd deffinately need a durable glove with good wrist support, and reyes are top dog when it comes for this. A cheaper alternative is the fairtex bgv9 mexican boxing gloves. I have both, and let me tell you they are both incredible gloves.
@@braderslooloo I honestly considered getting the BGv9 or BGL7 too. I'd love some Cleto Reyes but I'm afraid that the hand compartment of those is too big in 16oz and that they're too unforgiving in 12oz. Thanks for your reply bro! I appreciate it

how do you compare these to the rfx guerrero sparring gloves? Can't decide between them.
I used to use reyes for sparring and I switched to these, my partners are much happier now lol.
👍🏼😂
I'm saving up for the red pair once I'm able to train again
when the white mesh got blood on it, it is so hard to clean
Agreed, soaks up dirty like a sponge

Coming soon!

Never liked mesh palms, even more now that I know that it's hard to clean.

Can u pls do a review on the new venum boxing gloves training camp 2.0 I’m thinking of buying them

Rival doesnt have the headgear for sale on the website. I didn't know they did a matching foul protector?
I think it’s on geezers boxing a UK site

Which do you like better these or the Fly X super lace? Considering both are synthetic leather...
I give the fly x the slight edge
Great video! Have you ever thought of doing a video on nutrition, supplements, and SARMS that are best for boxing?
SARMs is not exactly supplements you know right? They're like steroids in the same category of drugs and have the same target to build muscle.
I have not, mainly because I just use multivitamins and focus on boxing gear
What you pick for sparring these or punch Mexican ultra or elite ??
These
Out of these gloves and ever-last power locks which ones would you use for sparring I know there different but which ones do you like better
Definitely these over the powerlocks

bro, do you believe that for a sparring between 165 lbs guys what size fits? 16 oz or 18?
16

Run a good size for medium size hands, just right

Probably around 7500 Philippine peso

Does it start to stink after some weeks like synthetic leather gloves usually do?
No but be aware they take ages to dry so you HAVE to take them out off your bag.

They are a good pair I have them in red
💯🥊
How's the smell on it after awhile? Do they stink the same as other synthetic or do they perform like real leather in terms of smell?
