When two or three judges turn their seats on the contestant, " Efra, do they ever fight?". They do but not literally. They just "battle" in trying to convince the contestant to be in their team. I highly recommend that you watch the Voice Kid Edition where Esang sang "Home" even just on your free time for you to see how coach Sarah and coach Lea used props to convince Esang to be in their team. You'll understand them since they speak in Taglish. It was hilarious.

Nope, he was a vocalist of a band called THE DRAYBERS after being a performer overseas. they were performing in bars, restos, bistros, like bluewave macapagal and cowboy grills. And he always sings air supply songs. Then joined some TV singing contest in eat bulaga thats when he was discovered and became a guest cohost as a BONDYING partner of CHUCHAY

They made different funny actions just to convince the contestant to choose their teams. Another part that i really enjoyed was the semi-final when the coaches were included in a battle. They had a duet number with their finalist contestant. Like Bamboo and Carmel, Sarah and Vanjoss
Mitoy and his band is very humble. We invited them in out Christmas Party more than twice I think and they are very cool and excellent.. Everyone stays just to watch them til the end of their performance and if they saw the crowd is enjoying they continuously grant our request for additional song not just 2 songs but more than 5 songs...
Had the honor of hearing his voice live when he was invited as a performer in our town fiesta.. we don't want him to end so he sang i think 2 or 3 additional songs... Such a performer...
Christmas also starts September 1 in the Philippines! You will see a lot of Jose Mari Chan memes on social media and you can hear his song, 'Christmas in Our Hearts' being played everywhere. It's an OPM classic song "Bakit Ako Mahihiya" by: Didith Reyes (if I'm not mistaken) and this is usually sang by a female singer and it's freaking hard to sing this song because it requires power and the tune should be on point which Mitoy was able to sing. He chose Coach Lea. P.S. I would like to recommend the battle rounds for Team Lea (Mitoy VS Chien) as they sing "Alone" by Heart. But watch Chien Berbana's Aegis version of "Sayang Na Sayang." first.
Even though Mitoy won season 1, he really didn’t have a singing career after The Voice like those we know now, he rarely appeared in ASAP, which would be the next level after winning any competition. I remember he wasn’t really the crowd favorite, as most of the people were rooting for Klarisse from Team Sarah to win, but his final performance with Lea and Vice Ganda, I think helped him win. He’s a really good vocalist and a comedian though.
I disagree with this. He have a career as a gig person. He has a band "the draybers" that do regular performances on popular places. He also judged tawag ng tanghalan. He just knows his expertise is not pop, hence he does not do regular performances.

I was waiting for him to promote his songs/albums, to see that “fame” that he should have had after winning the 1st season. He kind of just went back to what he does before TVP and did a sitcom. I’m glad that he worked on TNT, because he is a good vocalist.

Mitoy was the crowd favorite because of his "funny" personality... Vocally, he's style is not unusual here in the Philippines. Most of the cover bands you'd hear in Olangapo and Subic area has the same high pitch style as Mitoys. A lot of people believed that the winner should've been Klarisse. Just my opinion...
