looked like the square bales were hanging on the second shoot and poping the strings. Awsome footage. I'm in the hay fields now. Humid and foggy mornings making it hard to dry good though.

Yeah they were hanging in the second shoot. I should have taken time to take it off but as always in a hurry. Yeah I am working on my last field this week. Cut it today!

How do you guys like your rollbelt 450 utility? Have you had any major problems with it? Thinking about getting one next spring and I’ve been trying to get some real world feedback, thanks!

I like it but it does have its issues. It makes an excellent bale, especially when compared to my neighbors New Holland baler, not sure the model but a bigger, more expensive baler. My 450 utility makes a way better bale than his does and he has net wrap. I have issues with the gate opening sometimes. You may see that in this video actually, where I am out of the baler on the one side beating on the latch with a hammer. I also have issues with it cutting the twine sometimes. Plus a lot of hay gets wasted because of the space between the belts, especially if it’s short hay. Those are some of the issues I do have. Otherwise it is a great baler! Makes perfect sized bales and nice looking bales. Now I would recommend the new 450 Utility baler if I were buying one though because you do get the sixth belt on it as well as some other changes which I have been told were issues with the previous 450. My thoughts. Hope this helps.
