I absolutely LOVE the new animation feature for ibis! It has all flipaclip's feature for FREE and its way more comfortable and better for drawing! The only problem is the limited canvas sizes since I cannot draw on a canvas less than 2k pixels
I hope ibispaint also adds audio to the new animation update as well! It would help A TON!! :D
I can't work with the animation thing either. I use a 4.4 pixel lineart and I typically use a canvas that's 2960 by 1848 (Though I sometimes use 4000 by 1848.) It's impossible for me to draw on a canvas that's so much smaller than my normal and have such blurry looking line art from having to make it so small. (2 pixel like you said.) I just cannot make an animation in my style with the Ibis Paint Animation studio the way it is. It's to problematic.
I wish they'd let you make any size canvas you want and that you needed to have the prime membership if you wanted to persay have a certain frame rate or be able to import audio files into the animation or something other than canvas size. For me and probably alot of other people the canvas size makes it impossible to use.

and the best part is that you can use the custom brushes you have for your animations to look better! love this update honestly

There's a lot of custom brushes I use on ibis paint ;v;
Tip: it actually has an onion skin layer that you can use, so make sure to use that so it’s easier

@@everestissigmaan onion skin layer is like a transparent photo of the last frame you did, but when you play the animation it doesn’t come up. it makes it easier to see where you last animated and where else you need to go.

the animation feature is great, just i feel that flipaclip has a more consistent moving-parts stystem, it's easier to copy layers etc
ibispaint is great though since it has all of the blending modes, higher layer cap (i think), and the same frame rate capability. the animation is still low quality but i would have spent an hour on an eye animation in flipaclip whilst it only taking 20 minutes in ibispaint
It is not easier to copy layers you just press duplicate and I think it is better for drawing people no p9nger have to draw then import each frame
I love it! For smoother edits I’ll use CapCut but for edits that need small breaks between them I’ll prolly use IbisPaint :D

I think that this is an amazing update to Ibis paint. I feel like it would be great for tweening instead of alight motion since it's more complicated on there (at least until u understand everything)

I honestly love the new update. The only problem is im slow (my fault lol) i spent 3 hours on making a stickman punch- but i finished it 2 hours later and now have a random animation so yeah
(Also its easy to use so thats a plus)

IbisPaint animation is pretty good, but personally I find it much more comfortable to animate on FlipaClip, as it’s easier to import audio and draw and I’m much more used to it
Actually is there a way to import audio into ibis paint I’m trying to find a way to but I cant
I like it more than FlipaClip except I wish you could import in videos to reference.

Frame rates are and were a thing before flipaclip even existed, it was not inspired by flip a clip.

How did u get rid of the pink background and have no pink left?
Go to selection area, the top layer (like the actual top layer) and press the bucket tool, after wards just color the bg blue and press the square on the top right corner and press cut :D
I hope this helps- but if it doesn’t, maybe try searching up “how to remove background in ibis x paint” :D!!

Yea bcuz having frame rates is something that flipa clip created, it’s not like frame rates are used in almost VERY ANIMATION SOFWARE

Ibis paint animation update has really gotten people ecstatic, but I’d rather prefer flips a clip because the lasso tool is easier and you can add your own audio + you need premium but I guess the ibis paint update is pretty cool, but other than that 3 layers is probably all you need unless your animating actual scenes

ehh it kinda depends. i would say the ibis paint one would honestly be more useful to people who are very used to animation, as they can use more details and effects and not get overwhelmed. flip a clip is more like an entry/beginner thing to animation to me
