Hello
Have you been able to test the DirectLake performances?
Are they comparable to the Power BI Import mode, whichever amount of data you have in your star model?
I know well the Delta Lake: performances of querying Delta Lake data can depend on fine tuned parameters (file size, z-order clause, ...).
Moreover, I guess that the import mode stores in memory a lot of data: this does improve the performances. I can't figure out how Power BI can be as performant by scanning Delta Lake files.
When should we expect a full course on Microsoft Fabric from pragmatic works on your website 🤔
