A reason why the rift can become unclickable is because there are too many right-click options. The rift is often placed at the bottom of the list, and when there are so many players, it gets cut off. Disabling the "duel player" option in the settings helps if you really want to train div on high pop worlds.

Sadly already have that setting disabled. What seems to be an issue now is even the normal springs can flicker too
Sorry to hear about your bad luck at GOE. Took me 90 kills to get a prayer book and I was upset about that.
Drop rate seems to be 1/125 solo so nothing to be upset about. Takes about 6-10 hours (depending on kills per hour) to get a drop.
Hopefully by the time either 500 or 1,000 KC the drops do start coming in for a potential loot video.
