The bass is criminally low in the mix, it took me a lot of effort to transcribe it as was recorded 🤘🏻

Thanks so much!! To achieve the sound, I split the bass signal in two:
1) To the first line, I boosted the low-end, cut the high-end and put a hard compressor.
2) To the second line, I cut the low-end, boosted the midrange around 800 Hz and added an overdrive from Cubase 10 (tone and drive on ten o'clock).
