yep make solar for hunter arc for titan and make it a artifact thingy slot forgot what there called where picking up elemental buff make u spawn that do damage but nerfed obviously in pvp damage etc.
I'd love to see it show up as a thrown grenade or something like that. Kind of like a mix between Arc Storm and Scatter Grenade =) This is one of the coolest artifact mods they've made in a long time.
Hey Tizzle, just wanted to say i'm returning back to destiny after a break and you are my go to guy for content lmao, love your videos man + you seem like such a genuine and likable guy.
The entire seasonal artifact is complete ass. Why would I want to get an armor charge from picking up special ammo when attrition orbs, reaper, and syphons exist.
Depends on the situation and your build to he honest. I usually just run siphons and not much else. However I can definitely see the armor charge on ammo pick up making corrupted puppeteer solo phases that much easier and more stress free.
Old God's Rite is the only new artifact mod that's worth looking into because its not just more damage its a unique function that builds into the space magic that makes destiny destiny. Too bad we'll only get to play with it for a month and its tied to void breaches: arguably one of if not the worst subclass bauble we can spawn. Who knows maybe it'll be built into one of the current void aspects that hopefully get BUFFS AND REWORKS down the road because just adding more aspects and fragments isn't gonna make people pick neutral subclasses over prismatic and its not gonna help the fact that aspects like chaos accelerant may be usable but just barely give you any benefits if any at all (I'M LOOKING AT YOU CHARGED SCATTER GRENADES AND AXION GRENADES, and while I'm at it: just revert handheld supernova to its pocket shotgun status because it and pocket singularity are horribly bad at raw damage and are so inconsistent as booping tools that they are practically never used. Imo just give us back the middle tree void melee or SOME OTHER CHARGED MELEE OPTIONS IN GENERAL). And mind you I say all of this while still keeping my contraverse holds build updated in game, actively using it for seasonal and mid level content, and loving that TIZZLE droped a few videos using chaos accelerant to solo GMs and like I said for said videos: the aspect is usable but being able to solo a GM with it says more about your knowledge and skill as a player than it does how useful the aspect is especially when it loses out on uptime without devour and child of the old gods isn't even competition, child is SIGNIFICANTLY better than Chaos and that doubles down when you factor in their pairing exotics and the synergies they have. Seriously mods like old gods rite should be filling the artifact not garbage weapon choices for champion stunning, more mods just there to give seasonal weapons the "overcharged" modifier to make them seem better than they are rather than just making ALL primaries and specials deal decent damage at base so we have more incentive to use more unique heavy ammo options without being pigeon holed into very specific setups to make abilities do all the damage or specific specials that crutch on one specific perk to deal ok at best damage which just gets targeted for nerfs anyway because its all people will use because of bungies piss poor sandbox balancing, or mods that literally just make some mods cheaper. I mean come on theres a whole slice of the playerbase that actively ignores the ones that make mods cheaper because if you don't keep that shit in mind it literally breaks your builds when the season is over and its happened before where those builds are entirely broken for MONTHS before bungie fixes it and half the time now adays the patches don't even fix what they say they will even today. As if the game wasn't already a buggy mess before bungie layed off 99% of the QA team. I've said it a thousand times and I'll say it again. Let players choose which primaries stun which champions at all times and use those artifact slots for more weird ones and testing exotic reworks and new exotic perks, just swap out the special and heavy weapon champion stunning mods every season, and STOP locking exotic weapons out of taking advantage of champion stunning mods on the artifact. Yes, weapons like revision zero can be really powerful in certain circumstances but weapons like wicked implement and the super shotty are literally ONLY used for their champion stunning because neither are really good for dps and wicked needs crits to build up its champion stun, is one of the WORST frames of scouts and scouts already get slandered for being one of the worst pve weapons because the thought of weapons with range outside of pulses scares bungie, oh and we had to scream at bungie for months for them to make the catalyst for wicked even worth going after Ironically enough just for the weapon to get ignored even further the more we got stasis scouts with headstone and more stasis synergy perks. I mean who is even using wicked implement outside of iceflayer bolt warlocks going into 2025? Thats a serious question because bungie has jumped through hoops to further push that weapon into irrelevancy as times gone on and this is coming from someone who used the shit outta it when it came out and doubled back to use it more when the catalyst got buffed. Sorry for the long comment but MAN destiny has so much untapped potential and I just wanna see it be the amazing game it can be. I'm tired of watching bungie fumble the bag when the changes that would bring back detected players and retain players that were on the ropes are so small and easy to make compared to WIDE sweeping changes that only come with annual dlc drops or dropping everything to make D3 just to fumble that games launch like they did D1 and D2 AND annual expansions like lightfall. I just wanna see the game win. Why is that too much to ask?
I read like 1/5 of that but yeah I agree. every artifact perk except for the last 1 looks lame asf and it's gonna be gone in a month it should be a aspect so people will have a reason to use base subclasses over prismatic. The lack of abilities, and aspects in this 11 year old game is trash.
Seems like armor charge was being granted every other special brick you were picking up. Probably a hidden progress bar thing like every other rng thing here
After playing around with these a bit, I fully agree with you on the reload speed perk and the ammo->charge perk. Both are pretty lackluster, effects. For the Void Breach mod, I found that if I play a pure Void subclass, it is already VERY easy to create Void Breaches and I don't need the help of this mod. But (at least on my Hunter) it is significantly harder to consistently make Void Breaches when I play on Prismatic. And it is obviously impossible to create them if I am playing a pure subclass that is not Void. Thus, I feel like that mod works best as a way to have consistent access Void Breaches when not playing a pure Void subclass. The Old God's Rite is one of the coolest artifact perks they've made in a long time. It does reasonable damage and the way the effect shows up in game is just very cool. I REALLY REALLY hope that this mod becomes part of the Void kit down the line. I could see this showing up as a thrown grenade that rains down Void damage, or I could see it being added just like this where it is a triggered effect (although I think I would prefer it as a grenade). Something I need to test later on is weather or not two people can both create and benefit from the Old God Rite effect at the same time. Often when we get projectile stuff like this it can be inconsistent... Nanites from Outbreak obviously do well on a team, as do Wolfpack Rounds... but Deathbringer's Void projectiles don't scale well in fireteams. So it's worth testing. Thanks for making the vid!
The void breaches have a cooldown of 5s, so I think your rapid kills in some places skewed data. Majors might just outright create a void breach. Good testing though, very appreciated.
You doing the video this style really just hammers home for me that they just all should be active all of the time and be unlocked via tier. Most of them are not that great nor game breaking. Many of them can’t overlap in your build anyways. In the difficulty of content you don’t need any of them. Granted I have more limited time to play but unless I really need something like changing champ stuns I don’t think I ever change the artifact because it doesn’t matter and it’s tedious. Really it’s just like the toolbox system.
Well in my limited testing, they're really great if you build into devour and GL's. Nothing crazy, but they at least just work as you play without jumping through hoops. Just use void, proc devour, use GL's, profit.
Hi tizzle, love your content (one of the only d2 creators i still watch) but just quick note you made some kills in the lost sectors for your void breaches during the breach cooldown time. This cd isnt long but can make it feel weird if you already start to count kills during that small period. I know this is a quick and not in depth overview what the new perks do but just wanted to give a headsup.
Or you know lucent finisher where if you finish a champ, luncent hive, gives heavy ammo, and then they could have added tormentors, subjectors, and banes
I love Destiny. This season has felt massively underwhelming. I understand the layoffs hasnt helped the game. Im looking forward to this season ending. Got the new shotty and its mediocre at best in PvE. Its good in PvP. Thanks Tizzle! Have a great rest of your day
