BTW, this is the 10th NCAA DIVISION 1 FCS FOOTBALL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE for NDSU Football (18th overall; First 8 came in NCAA DIVISION 2 Level). Overall, this is the 30th NCAA TEAM NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE for NDSU Athletics.
I was curious who the youth was that coach clearly got cross with while jogging across the field headed to join the team after the win. We replayed it a couple times and you could tell it bothered the youth as his whole demeanor changed.
cole payton will probably get the nod as of now but nathan hayes has shown very good potential and wouldnt be suprised if he is named starter come fall camp
Col Peyton throws INTERSECTIONS, we will all see it come fall. I have a gut feeling that Nathan Hayes will work out better. The one game this past season where they put him in during the 4th qtr with a big lead, he looked more confident and poised than Cole did at that stage of his life. It will be an interesting yr for sure. Looking forward to it.
