I'm in a band right now. trying to learn this song. Anyone got tips on remembering the bass line? Super difficult with all the cord changes.
I wonder if this is where Paul Mc Cartney got the idea for the bass part for Dont Let Me down? Quite similar 16th notes on the high E and running down the scale.
Great cover, Tommy Cogbill is one underrated bass player
I wish Tom would sell Gp files instead of 20th century pdfs
Wow I didn't realize the bass line was this elaborate, a bit above my current skill set but having the score I will have fun trying to learn and play it correctly. Thanks Tom!
Much appreciated. This is quite the bass line for such a laid back song isn’t it! Great pentatonic workout tho. I’ll incorporate this one as well. I think I’ll have lot’s of fun once it’s ‘under the belt’. Thnx again man!
This basslines really is a lot of fun to play, once you mastered it.
So gut du auch Whitesnakes Ain't No Love in the Heart of the City spielst, dieses REM Stück LmR groovt nicht ,das muss anders gespielt werden!
A great bass line and thanks for posting
Thanks for posting, love this song!!
Please do "History Will Teach Us Nothing" by Sting, I beg you ahahah
Nicely done - very clear and easy to learn from, thank you
"I said G**damn!" - Pulp Fiction
Cool pentatonic bass line by Tommy Gogbill. He played on many of Aretha Franklin's tracks also. Great Post Tom 👍
I wonder if he played on Aretha's cover of Preacher Man - I'd love to see a breakdown of that.
@@jwsaxe David Hood from the great Muscles Shoals Rhythm Section played bass on Aretha's version.
Great, thanks
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Best!
vielen Dank
