1. I think the integra looks better on the MDC’s personally. 2. 222hp/248tq on a hot humid day are some solid numbers!! Consider 200/192 to the flywheel!!! That’s pretty impressive
I’m sure the torque is great for where it needs to be. So I’m not too disappointed with the horsepower numbers. probably in a year or two, perhaps PRL or Spoon will have a better turbo set up. [hopefully 55-75 Hp gains]
@@sergeantlate1062 Having had both, they're largely the same just different features. For example, Hondata has their Hondata traction control feature that works much better than Ktuner. While I enjoyed this build, you people need to understand tbat hondas are not fast cars from the factory. They make excellent tuned cars that are fun and reliable. Do you have any suggestions on how I can make the upgrade because my dealership isn’t being very helpful.
Entry level should have been 2L. Type S Integra should have had a 2.5L. Had they done that, they could have incressed the HP on the HRC. That's forward thinking.
Bolt ons aren’t worth it on FI engines … tune only gives almost the exact same results for a fraction of the price. I’d like to see what this car does 0-60 and 1/4 mile vs stock
Any Performance parts for 18 MDX? Not looking for HP gains but any parts that help engine work more efficient air filters etc… Btw Integra is a beast for what it is looking forward to seeing what the flex fuel and custom tune do to that beauty of a car
Was disappointed to see the dramatic performance dip from the ILX to the new Integra, but hopefully this modern civic platform will be easy to tune and modify. It already looks nicer than the ILX imo, all it’s missing is some punch.
Honda has the potential to make incredible motors and were seeing these turbo-4s that are way underpowered. Any acura model should be pushing 300whp these days.
That engine and tranny on a DC2 is waste money.... with a K24A from a TSX 2005 bolt on with good tune allmotor can get 225-250hp easy.... hitting 8400-9000rpm..... and Turbo stock internal 425-450 with good fuel system and safe tune.... and you can find the engine cheap... and the tranny is much better and strong compared with the 1.5 engine and tranny.... is funny because you can get more HP with a D16Z6 from Civic Si 92-95 with ebay turbo kit... 😆
I have to say...they mention the weather several times....OOH ITS TOO WARM....OH IT'S A BIT COLD...sorry but the weather is not going to accommodate the car.

the Elantra N make grate power for the same price point . 340WHP with just a tune no bolts on :)

Yes, whenever you are flashing your ECU

What is that chemical your spraying to clean out the oil that splashed on the oil pan area.

Should have a 2.0L in it

Awesome to see but those number are still super low thought it would be 300 but the heat soak it’s tough
300hp is a lot to ask for a 1.5L motor
These "Plug-in-play" tunes are intent for stock. We will do a custom tune which should give a much better numbers.
Agreed, the stock turbo will max out way before that
@@Darksyne yeah but full bolt on tune maxing the turbo out maybe with corn fuel but the heat soak killed it

How about integra cvt, how much hp can handle?
Any word on the flex fuel kit?
Out of pure curiosity why do you use Honeywell made Honda oil filters (which are fairly poor) compared to a JDM option such as HKS or Honda Japan?
With all those bolt ons, it made the same power as stock without the tune? Isn’t this the same dyno shop you went to 4 months ago?
I know man I believe the tune is helping with the torque mainly. 😢

Someone needs to put this engine and tranny into a DC2.
Hondata is working with CARB to get these L15 1.5T engine swaps going for older cars since they make more power and are more efficient.
