good analysis of the 3 songs and especially of "Monster" ... Shawn wrote this song 3 years ago and proposed this duet to Justin Bieber. They became friends in 2019 and share similar experiences. Both were exposed to the limelight and the media at an early age. They were very successful early in their careers. For Shawn, the consequence was to suffer from anxiety (song "In my blood"), because he thought that people expected a lot from him. Shawn was afraid to disappoint his fans and music industry professionals. Justin Bieber has probably experienced these same difficulties in the past, but he reacted differently and in particular by behavior that has been criticized by the media.
Justin wrote his own text. So am I a "monster" if I behave like a normal person, if I fail, if I disappoint?
