Can we PLEASE get over this period of celebrating mental decline and ugliness and make movies again that are beautiful to look at, with beautiful people doing awesome things?!
I had to re-watch the Crow sequel movies 2 to 4 to get the bad taste of this 2024 version out of my mouth. I am NOT kidding when I say that 2 to 4 were better than the latest version (yes I saw it in the cinema with an open-mind, sue me).
@@TheGourdKing City of Angels ain't so bad, the other 2 are bad but at least they had coherent motivations, script, character arcs and fight-scenes (albeit constrained by a budget x10 less than the 2024 movie). You could actually do this video again but apply it to the Crow sequels, and THEN reflect it back to why they are still superior than the latest incarnation.

@@janette2422 I gave it 2 points for a couple of decent action sequences (the car fight and the opera scene). It’s very tough for a movie to get something like a 1 or 0 with me. I can loathe a film and still objectively recognize where it has merit.

Given that the movie itself didn't even make enough to fund a 30-second Super Bowl ad, I think we easily could've attached this as a Pixar short.
