    I have a form that I duplicated for a different program so I ended up changing the attendance policy on the build section but it did not update the form. How do I get the new verbiage to change on my fillable form?

    Will I be able to take the data from the online pdf form and zap it over to other programs with Zapier?

      JotForm is available on Zapier so that's possible. You can integrate your PDF Form to any other apps through Zapier. Here's the link zapier.com/apps/jotform/integrations. Please contact us through our contact form here www.jotform.com/contact/ if you have more questions. Regards!

    Does importing an existing .pdf file, with noticeable "pictures, graphics, etc." cause the process to work more slowly and [even] not at all?

    • @Jotform
      @Jotform  2 роки тому

      Hello Stanley,
      If the PDF file consists a lot of images, it would probably take time since images are also interpreted, converted and uploaded to Jotform server. This should not break the conversion process. However, regardless of the conversion result, the converted form is highly customizable in the form builder. If there are images that are not converted, simply use the Image tool to upload them manually. If you need further assistance, please contact us through our Support Contact Form www.jotform.com/contact/ so we can help.

    I would like to have clients fill out form and the finished product be emailed to them as an editable doc. So I want to create a resume template form and after they fill out they would download it or get it emailed after they submit form. Then be able to edit it after in Ms word hopefully. Is anything like this possible?

      @Jotform  2 роки тому

      Hello Rich,
      This is basically possible with PDF Editor by customizing the submissions PDF document of your form. However, in order for users to edit the PDF they received, they will have to use Adobe Acrobat. The PDF file can also be imported into MS Word application for editing then later save it as a word document file. Here's how to customize the submissions PDF document of your form: www.jotform.com/help/384-how-to-customize-pdf-submissions-report/. Alternatively, it is possible to save every submissions data or populate submissions data to your existing Word document template through Make, formerly known as Integromat then send the word document file manually to your respondents. Here's a guide for that: www.jotform.com/help/519-populate-a-word-document-with-form-data/.

      @Jotform  2 роки тому

      Hello Kenny,
      That's possible when you edit your form's PDF document in the PDF Editor. Follow this guide: www.jotform.com/help/384-how-to-customize-pdf-submissions-report/. While in the PDF Editor, just add the Submission IP element under the Basic Elements to display the submitter's IP Address in the PDF document as shown in this screenshot: link.jotform.com/vsaRkhM9kq.

    How to do i create a template pdf that responses will be submitted to. Basically the vice versa of what is demonstrated here. I wanna build a form and then have it inputed into a nice looking pdf. Is this possible? Or do i have to first create the pdf template myself?

      We suggest you create a form in the form builder first. Here's how: www.jotform.com/help/2-how-to-create-your-first-web-form. After that, you can customize your PDF Document. Guide: www.jotform.com/help/384-how-to-customize-pdf-submissions-report. Or you can start from premade PDF Templates which you can find from our PDF Templates page here www.jotform.com/pdf-templates/. After you select a PDF template, you can choose whether you want to create a new form or integrate the PDF template into one of your existing form. If you have any questions, please contact us in our Support System through our contact form here www.jotform.com/contact/.

    Hi. I've uploaded a few .pdf files now and, while they appear as is on the right hand pane of the screen, on the left are displayed a series of text fields stacked vertically. What is on the left looks nothing like what is on the right, i.e., the original pdf file. What am I doing wrong?

    • @Jotform

      Hello, You actually got it correctly. The Smart PDF Form will convert your PDF Form (right pane) into a Web Form (left pane). By default, generated fields in the Web Form are automatically mapped to your original PDF. You can then use the Web Form to collect submissions. When you received submissions, you can download your original PDF with your customers data populated in it. To learn more, please check our guide here www.jotform.com/help/548-how-can-i-import-my-own-pdf-with-smart-pdf-forms. If you have more questions, please contact us in our Support System through our support contact form here www.jotform.com/contact/. Regards!

      @@Jotform This is a bad response. I just purchased Jotform to convert a bunch of PDFs into online forms. None of the text surrounding my fields are displaying. I can't send clients a form with just fields to sign without any of the context of what they're signing.
