yesterday and told my barber to hit me with a 2 guard. He said a 2
wasn't doing anything so we went down to a 1.5 . When I got home, it
looked my hair was super low and didn't have any progress. I consider my
hair course and it seems to grow slow or thin perhaps. Should I push
that next wolf out to 8 weeks or longer? Need some advice from the CHK

Did you comb, hard brush, medium brush, soft brush, and plastic bag in that order?
Or did you do the ladder method where you comb between each brush type?
It sounds as if you just didn’t get low enough or fully penetrate the layers of your hair

Hard brush and wash and styles make sure you double compressing

Moisturisation method?
Can I cut my hair with a 2 guard ? I usually go a 1.5 ( my barber just cuts it to a 1.5 without asking 😭) and I still see my waves but My barely have any hair so I’m wondering if a 2 guard is fine for coarse hair
for me i get a 1.5 every once in a while to see if i made progress, but regularly i get a 2 which in my opinion is the best cause the 1.5 have me feeling bald 😂
