I feel that winter is also the hardest times to make friends + connections which is when I think, most feel the need for connection. I think pen pals + online friends helps with this a bit but sometimes you need help getting out of the winter funk- it’s important to remember how lovely winter is and how Mother Nature still looks out for us and tends to the earth during this time as well. We all need rest, care & connection.

ooh girl I get it! I also feel super unproductive when it comes to my uni work, and I feel so bad about it! But I think we're not set up to always be productive, we need some time of a slower pace in our lives, and winter seems like the time for it. I'm proud of you and everyone who struggles to be productive due to this reason, we can just try our best, and not fully stress ourselves to be THE best version of ourselves ALL the time

I try to wake up earleir so I have more sunlight on the days where I don't have things to do at like 6 in the morning but then I end up napping midday from being so tired and wake up to it being dark :(

If you are on any medications tell your pharmacist about the suicidal feelings as it could be a side effect of any of the meds (very common) that way considering the medications may help improve that negative feeling
