There wasn't a dry eye in the house when this song was released. This was our first time seeing Wendy and seeing the whole group together again in nearly a year. We all suspected that Wendy still had some facial blemishes during this era, as there were no close-ups of her face the entire video. As part of her injuries, she had cracked her cheekbone and had to have her jaw wired shut for an extended period of time while it healed. The next time we saw her was the SM Town New Year's concert, and we were all really relieved when she could still perform flawlessly onstage. I don't know if you've ever heard the original song by BoA, but it sounds very little like this version. RV put their own distinctive R&B twist on it.
@seoulfulnotes She could have been killed. She got hustled offstage at the SBS concert rehearsal down a dark tunnel to a set of stairs. Except the SBS staff neglected to have the stairs in place. She fell nearly 12 feet onto a bare concrete floor. She broke her hip, her wrist, and cracked her cheekbone. It was actually Solar from Mamamoo who found Wendy crying in pain below the stage. The poor girl didn't let go of her microphone all the way to the hospital. SM immediately announced that RV would be having no group activities of any kind until she had completely healed. I'm sure SBS paid Wendy and SM *dearly* for their negligence.

I loved react as always hehe, outside of the topic vocals which are insane, this song was a gift for the fandom in 2020 during the girls' long hiatus, after the horrible accident with Wendy, this song made me very happy, we could breathe a sigh of relief to see our 5 girls together, again, it was exciting at the time, that's why I think this song, which although it's a cover, is one of the most special things they've ever released means a lot. ((a recommendation for reaction time after time from wendy, ningning from aespa and boa (the soloist) they devoured the vocals
All the proof why RV is the closest rival to Mamamoo for best vocal female idol group (Mamamoo is the best, but RV definitely has vocal chops) since 2010. Big Mama is still the reigning champ, though.
