- In this week's Devlog I started with the design of my new app. Like with my other products, I do design work in Sketch a great app for UI design! After a few days of sketching and prototyping, I now have a design for the core features that I will start implementing in the next video.
Please leave a comment if you have any feedback or suggestions for the app, or DM me on Twitter!
Thanks for watching :)

Just found these devlogs 3 years later. These are great, thank you for sharing. Hopefully you pick these back up in the near future! Curious, what notebook do you use for sketching out ideas?
great stuff! hopefully you continue the series :)
Thanks! New video is coming very soon 🙌
@@mindvoll superduper awesomeness :D
from morocco great content men 👍
we used to do app by starting with the diagramm entity but I found more efficient your way.
may i ask where you get the background image (house with lights on) from?
Nice video
Fascinating. Could you please elaborate on the advantage you get to design it up in sketch and not just jump from the wireframe to coding it?
In your case since you're doing everything, it isn't clearly apparent to me.
Sure! I design the app (for now just parts of it that I am planning to implement first) in Sketch before I implement it because I can make changes in Sketch much much much faster than in code.
After the wireframing I still only have a rough idea of how things will look like. It's almost guaranteed will still change when I come to the design phase. If I would jump right into the coding this would take up a lot more time than experimenting and adjusting things in Sketch. That's why I prefer to take a bit more time and do the design first instead of coding it right away :)
whats your laptop specs
Without cooding?
I was developing Moodmonk with SwiftUI!
Whats the name of that program ?
Which program do you mean?
